This show is what Blue Collar Comedy-whatever should have been! A TV gem that I hope, hope, hope gets another season or three. I admit it's a little rough around the edges. But, the fact that I found myself laughing more frequently with each episode means they streamlining their craft. I think another season would do the trick. This is the sort of show that could become another American Institution like the The Simpsons or The Daily Show. Naked Trucker (Dave Allen) could use a few more funny lines, but being nude makes up adequately for his being straight man/den mother to David Koechner's T-Bones, who might be one of the most brilliantly crafted character on TV these days.

Step aside Uwe we've got a new player in the game of "let's slap together an uninspired and down right flat movie based off a licensed IP". This is one of those movies where characters do things, and plots move forward "just cuz". It's mostly Nick Cage sitting around and looking like he made a big mistake, and I think that mistake is he sold his soul for a flourishing early career with the likes of the Cohen Bros. and David Lynch , and it's lost him his hairline and put him in this movie, which as an audience member is a pretty close simulation of a boring and unendurable hell. Characters talk their feelings, the action comes across as an afterthought, and nothing is surprising; a five year old could guess each turn of events. The only lasting effect of this movie is that for the last day or so I've been wondering to myself as to why was Peter Fonda in it? If you're over 12 don't go see this movie.
