Even though the rapture isn't biblically accurate, the concept of showing how being a lukewarm Christian can impact your salvation is good. However I didn't like the concept that missing one Sunday could be the difference between you being lost or saved. I know the characters in the movie (that missed the Sunday) only went when it suited them but it's still a flawed concept. The acting didn't help as most of the actors were either shouting or overacting, too many characters were being focused on. This didn't help with keeping interest in the plot, the plot itself could have been better if they had cut down on the amount characters they could have expanded their back stories a bit more. It was the opposite of show me don't tell me, the ending was probably the worse part of the movie. The sound effects plus the loud organ playing in the background just didn't help with the mood of the scene. Most of the budget probably went into all the stock videos they shoved on screen of natural disasters happening around the world, which lasted way longer than it should have. At the end with everyone screaming hysterically, the horrible music and the overacting, I just couldn't help but laugh. In conclusion, I think that's it has good concept but it was badly written and acted, which made it more of a comedy than something to take seriously.

I've watched s1 and was new to the csi universe so I didn't have any high expectations, It was alright and was excited to watch season 2. The consistency of episodes being released weekly for season 2 were very bad as it would be a month often before a new episode was aired. The writing isnt all that great for example the whole 'love triangle' between Josh, Allie and Serena which was forgotten half way through the season. Certain plots seemed to drag on and others were rushed, some characters are well fleshed but others are just background to the 'main ones'. It has the potential to be good but lacks anything to make it that and instead becomes the type of show you watch when you're bored.

In s8 half way through most of the old A troupe left and that's when the show should have ended. I lost all interest after that as the new A troupe characters (most) are bland and one dimensional with annoying stereotypes.

Nick's accent is grating and apparently the actor was born in England but he sounds like a Canadian putting on a forced British accent. 🤣

Cleo and Jude are the only decent couple in s8 but they managed to have them fall out every other episode. Some of the reasons were just plain stupid. So much for good sapphic representation....

In conclusion: This show has met it's days, it was once good but now they are just flogging a dead horse. They are dragging out the show for no reason and then bringing in unlikeable characters where their only purpose is to tick boxes. The writing for the current season was horrendous some of the plots were just dragging out and some were forgotten about after one episode. If it gets renewed for another season then you know someone high up needs to be fired. Let the show die in peace!!

In 2021 a lot of the storylines were amazing and come February of this year the storylines just got worse and worse. Most of them have either been depressing or stupid, they have the odd filler scene with a bit of comedy now and again but that doesn't make up for the horrible storylines.

I don't know what happened to the writers but it doesn't seem like they want any happy storylines in this show anymore. Hopefully around autumn they turn it around because if not then corrie definitely won't be wining any awards next year. Unless it's the most depressing storylines ever...

I've stopped watching months ago and started watching hollyoaks instead.

All I have to say is byutv ruined the show and I know s5 will be a dreadful as s4 so yeahh. They should have let the show die after s3 when hulu dropped the show.
