Silicon Valley: Blood Money (2019)
Silicon Valley has nothing to add
Lazy writing again. Dunno why shills ruin the actual rating, literally screwing your own direct free feedback to the public, smart. No wonder everyone pirates everything.
The Walking Dead (2010)
Who is the dead now?
Just minding my own business, and in the other room I hear "the new walking dead season is starting now", then the walking dead intro starts. The fear sets in, arm hairs strait up. Clearly he is being ironic, but then he says "hurry up dude I'll pause it". Utter panic as I throw myself out the window from the 5th floor just before he busts into the door. I make my way along a creek for hours, it can't be! I stop to cry into my hands.... I just won't believe it! They can't be real! But it was real, walking dead fans still exist.
Mr. Robot (2015)
Sudo apt-get to the point
The series seemed like a real winner at first, giving you the illusion of elite hackers but then it starts stumbling upon itself, giving so much confusion that it became uninteresting.
It's to serious and bleak at all times with everyone staring slightly off screen mumbling we started making fun of it. Random jokes said during the show to keep sanity, such as "btw I use arch" after a really depressing scene or rattling off a terminal command during a long stare. Does he even use qubes with whonix though? sudo yum install dramatic. It's probably the only reason we've lasted this long.
So, is that guy real or not? The show doesn't seem to make sense either way. It goes into the "always losing" scenario, combined with the confusion it just isn't fun to watch anymore. First season was pretty cool, not everything is terrible.
El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie (2019)
Not much going for it.
It's just too methodical on how they do it, really no surprises or anything along the way. Lady finds M book, for Mexico so Todd kills her bc his money has to be secret, Todd tells Jesse about all his money, says he needs to find a new hiding spot and keep it close. Kandy dude leads him right to his truck after taking the money. Jesse puts a complete ruse on undercover agents while being just around the corner. Convenient key and somehow knowing the safe password, phonebook opens to Kandy address. Wild west showdown.
Jesse has money now, goes to Alaska but no further clarification on why besides talking with Mike who is completely different than Jesse in almost every aspect. The very end about the universe taking you, seems to contradict the decision of going to Alaska in this regard, plus the part about having to cross 2 borders via truck to get there. Apparently he is safe now with his new ID and such to go into town, but then why did he even have to hide?
As for skinny Pete being found in the el camino, who knows.
Continuity was pretty bad. Should have at least been close to the same weight....especially the 2 main actors.
Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019)
Actors are too old even for the blip
Even with the blip most of the actors look 30+ so it ruined a lot of the immersion. It's also really unbelievable. I know it's a super hero movie but come on. Also I get the jokes, like as if he doesn't look exactly like himself when he uses that crown mask bc in super hero world everybody is oblivious and only used for cheering HAHAHH. No I get it, it's just poorly executed, it's a good idea if it was done right. I'm not offended by this btw, it's a common trope.
Another gripe I had is the actors where too obvious on who they where and didn't line up right in the casting. This to me means bad acting, or just actors who are good but don't do many parts.
The saving grace is his friends who knew who he was and had his back. I liked the interaction change once they where alone with the insiders. Other than that, I didn't make it through the whole movie, the actors being 40 looking ruined it for me.
