FORGET BIG MOE - Keep playing the game
22 November 2019
Wow. Just wow.

If you think this episode was bad, you clearly didn't understand it.

The way this show communicates with its audience and trying to get their message across while also making something incredibly funny is just amazing. I've never seen anything like that on tv. Although, that's not surprising because IASIP always was that one show that's different from anything else we've ever seen.

This episode definitely changed my point of view. Go have fun guys, you deserved it. You have our support and we'll always keep watching!!!

Am I the only one who doesn't get it?

Warning: Spoilers
Let me start by saying that I really enjoyed the first three episodes. It was interesting, fun to watch, held my attention, there was something going on. However, all that was missing from this third episode and I'm afraid that's the direction this show is heading at.

What was good about it was the fact that they showed both sides of the story. By cutting Steve Carrell out of this episode shows you that they had no intention of showing both sides but rather villainize the other.

I understand that the main goal of this show is to tackle all the cultural events happening in the past few years. But did they really have to include all of it in just 3-4 episodes? Metoo movement, protests, now abortion in this episode? What's next? Are we about to find out that Bradley Jackson is a transgender in the next one?

Also, this idea of this rogue tv host who's super crazy and will do anything its just lazy writing. It was fine once. But if it keeps happening two or three times per episode it's just gonna get boring.

And finally this scene where she interviews the "victim" and builds so much intensity and drama. I just didn't get it. I guess you're supposed to feel sorry for her? But her story made it perfectly clear that nobody forced her into anything and she really made her own decisions. Yet, this moment was supposed to be the one where we realize that Steve Carell's character is actually a horrible human being and we should hate him. It just didn't work for me.

Honestly I'm hugely disappointed what this episode had to show. I really hope this is not the direction the show is taking. The only reason I started (and will probably continue) watching the show is because of Reece, Jen and Steve. I feel like that cast can make a show literally about anything and still make it good. I just hope it changes direction soon.

Back to the roots

I don't understand some of the bad reviews of this episode. While I'll be the first one to admit that season 13 wasn't really that funny and I was worried that the same level of mediocracy from season 13 will spill into season 14. However, I couldn't have been more wrong! So far, season 14 is amazing! It has that same familiar "feel" of the gang from earlier seasons. As far as this episode goes, I think it was even funnier than the first one. They way they tackle current hot subjects and make fun of everyone, while being hypocritical is what this gang is about. The jokes were excellent, I laughed throughout the entire episode! go watch it!
