Superman & Lois (2021)
Superman and Lois. Meh
It's the same bland tone of how hope is everything, talks about nothing else. Pays a homage - which I might add was literally done so terribly, and instills a tunnelled mindset of how the OG suit is supposed to be. This is nothing new, and insulting to a character now so evolved. Nah. Backwards.
Titans: Faux-Hawk (2019)
This episode is too little too late for the series.
I've seen people say they 'like the character development' here. I'm going to tell you there is very very little, some, but which doesn't need 10 other episodes segmenting and refraining from overall progress of it (story and character). S01 was a triumph compared to this, as there is too many unecesscary plot narratives that take the characters on twists and turns, at this point, I have no idea who is supposed to be who, what they are feeling, and why they made certain decisions which go against the characters themselves. This is definitely for an adolescent audience, not one which wants a deep cohesive story and good execution of character dynamic. It is honestly such a disappointment, because there is so much potential but totally wasted!.
Titans (2018)
I'm a DC fan and this season 2 is a massive step backwards!.
This show has gotten ridiculous, from over saturated with characters that need further development, but not enough time - to being completely written wrong. The antagonist has been made to look like an emotionally incompetent mercenary (hope that didn't spoil anything). Season brought the action, the interesting character psychology and way better action choreographed sequences.
Season 2 is a massive let down and doesn't follow season 1s story narrative. The writing is way off.
I blame the writer Geoff Johns. The only reason this has a 2 is because I actually liked season 1.
Make of it what you will in your own interpretations.
