David Fincher... is one of the genius directors of cinema who has made a name for himself in narrating an event. I've watched every single one of his movies except Mank, and I've often thought that his movies weren't as good as exaggerated. I guessed the incident in Fight Club in the middle of the movie. Although Se7en had a good ending, it was pretty boring at first. The Game movie (in my opinion, Fincher's best movie) is one of his least heard movies although it is very good. The movie Panic Room could not go beyond being a boring movie except for the shooting techniques. Zodiac and Gone Girl were like regular detectives. When I started to respect Fincher because of the good movie The Game, I started the movie Benjamin Button, which I had in mind for a long time. Although I wanted to say I watched it without expectations, I was very excited because the movie looked good. Benjamin Button is a person who lives life backwards. The old is born and the young will die. It can also be said from old age to youth. I think it will be a superficial review because of that, the movie I will tell without giving spoilers. If I had to compare this movie to a movie, it would definitely be Forrest Gump. Because both movies are biopics and Forrest Gump and Benjamin Button are similar personalities. Their main features make them stand out, they live their lives to the fullest, they turn to different things... The film tells the life of Benjamin Button very well. Every detail of life is reduced. Button never sits idle in life. Constantly trying new things. He doesn't see his illness as a weakness, he turns it into an advantage. Because of these features I have mentioned, many events take place in the movie and the movie drags you into it. This keeps the movie flowing smoothly. Fluency is an important factor in the movie. Although the movie has a great script, it has a meaning when it gets boring. Se7en or Sixth Sense movies are examples of movies with low fluency. 75% of the movie is boring and there are a few events in the last parts that affect the audience. But Benjamin Button is one of the films that we can describe as fluent in this regard. While watching the movie, I did not look at the clock even once, I finished the movie in one sitting and got up. Because I kept wondering what would happen next. It is one of the films that does its job well in fluency.
The make-up team of the movie did a great job. Old Benjamin is so beautiful. On the other hand, it is difficult to find a person from youth to old age, but the choices were still good. The casting and the actors are also good. Nobody could play Benjamin Button better than Brad Pitt. Cate Blackett has also been a very successful narrator for the story. Very good performances. No performance stands out. There is an understated acting that fits into the movie. The music adorns the background of the movie very well, but they cannot put their weight forward. I also opened the album after the movie, but there is some light music. Unfortunately, I did not see a heavy soundtrack. As for the final words, the movie was good overall. I think it's a movie that should be watched in a fluent way that doesn't bore you. Nice biography. My score is 83/100.
