Polaroid (2019)
A curious lack of energy
Pretty sure I'm in the minority but I do enjoy the Final Destination-type films...you don't have to really think too much watching them and you can easily relate to the befuddlement and terror the characters face. This one had real pacing problems for me, and I have never seen a darker film....darker, meaning so badly photographed to where you could not make out what the characters were seeing. Its the first time I had to manipulate my brightness control to understand what was going on. The acting though, quite good for a knock-em-off 1 at a time movie.
Fear Thy Neighbor (2014)
Pretty sure most episodes are fictional
Too many episodes have no locations, interview people who have vague titles ("reporter," "investigator", etc), and no actual photos...even at the end. The episode "Tunnel of Hate" names no city or state. Officers wear uniforms and drive cars that are just labeled "Police." The reporter and police interview subjects just have first names. No credibility, unlike the HLN neighbor conflict show.
