This movie fell short of all my expectations despite it being the one I was looking forward to most this year and wanted to give the most leeway to. I love Evan Peters but the way this was filmed could not make it any drier. It had so much potentially to make it truly terrifying which would give a reaction appropriate to the crimes committed. Instead it was soul less, boring, and what really should just have been condensed into a really good movie. Instead it wasted many hours of my time. The dialogue was cliche and vanilla, there was minimal gore. The action scenes were my biggest disappointment. I love horror, but I never got that eerie or shocked fear response. You could check your phone throughout the whole series and not miss a thing. I wanted to love it so much, but it was ultimately a waste of a good story with a good actor. Maybe I'm spoiled with the quality of HBO.

Thought-provoking Drama w/ Excellent Characters

This series futures inspirational young adults with good moral and ethical values. They prioritize making the community around them better while sacrificing their own well-being, which makes altruistic selflessness their primary flaw. It's really refreshing to see driven, sharp, gratuitous people that serve as great role models for the younger generations and represent the best of Australia's modern culture to a worldwide audience. This script is well written, I cycled between crying and being on the edge of my seat in every episode. I couldn't recommend this enough, a truly groundbreaking series.

After his very ego centric "documentary" about how he is the greatest and most driven person on earth, surrounded by a bunch of yes men, comes a less funny special than the previous one. Is it because he is so popular that it is hard to gauge genuine audience reactions as everyone laughs at everything because of who he is? Perhaps this coupled with only doing large stadium stand up sets gives his no good feedback to improve, and thus his standup suffers. Don't waste your time.
I wasn't expecting much, but I thoroughly enjoyed this!

The drama was sort of fun, quite typical dating reality series. The plot, concept and relationships are full of issues and holes, so if you're looking for something with a good overall story then this isn't for you. If you focus on enjoying drama of the relationships, awkward fights and the situational comedy you'll get a lot more out of it! I actively ignored the plot holes and enjoyed it.

This, in my opinion, is the best special Louis has ever released. And I've watched A LOT of specials, this is definitely top 5, if not top 3. I was belly laughing and was tired of laughing by the end, sitting alone in my room. That should tell you something. Go watch it!

Slow paced, terrible characters, plot holes galore

Almost all of the characters were so dislikable. The teenage romance / drama is exhausting, and all of it feels forced. I don't see any chemistry, maybe it's the casting or the writing. The CGI was cliche and anyone under 12 would cringe at it. the only character I liked was killed off at the first episode. The teenagers (Not just the giants) are too evil at the high school to the point of just making me annoyed with no pay off.
The biggest issue is that once the main character finds out he has a super power, the next minute he acts as if he doesn't know he has a super power. Why doesn't he just show the others of his new powers? Why does he learn of one power, then wait till tomorrow till he tries out more powers? He seems so unintelligent, I think this is just a writing issue. The story doesn't make sense, and I regret wasting time pushing through it thinking there was gonna be a pay off reading the other reviews on here.

I went into it with an open mind, but I felt like I was just getting yelled at the whole time. I was seeking any sort of humorous substance and I guess some of her sentences mildly amused me, but in the end I felt like I came out of it disappointed and has given more confirmation that female comedians are usually not going to be funny, with a couple of exceptions. I know This might not be a popular opinion because of the gender thing, but honestly, Whitney Cummings, Amy Schumer etc all have the same problems, and this is just like their specials. Take it as you will
A fascinating narrative of the most interesting events of WWII

From the beginning I was hooked. The way the show details the events, the strategies, the beautiful footage, interviews, etc was gripping and I binge watched the show over 2 days. It goes into the psychology of the most important people and what led to their decisions. It takes into account the culture of the individual countries at the time and is filled with suspense and twists. It was also very informative, I knew a little bit about WWII from high school classes, but this really helped fill in the gaps in a satisfying way. I feel like I've learned more than in the 2 days of watching this show than I would in a year of study. If you are slightly interested in the events of WWII and want a dramatic narrative of the most important events, this show is for you!
