What About Joan (2000)
Too bad..
This show could really have been something. It has got good actors/actresses, especially Joan Cusack and Kyle Chandler, but the writing is lousy! I didn't laugh a single time when I watched an episode of this show. Sure, you might think that it is too early to decide about a show after one episode, but I'm telling you, I won't watch another episode without a fat paycheck. Don't waste your time on this one!
Commando (1985)
Oh dear...
I usually enjoy Arnolds movies, but this one really disappointed me. It has got lousy action scenes, a bad script and not to mention Ray Dawn Chong's charachter.. She is probably the most stupid character on film! Sitting and watching to guys fight and saying these lines which are supposed to be funny but just makes the film to a D-movie. Oh, the humanity.. The only thing that makes me give this film a 2 instead of a 1 is that Arnold still is cool, even in a s***ty film like this.
Brimstone (1998)
Great!
This show is just great and it's a shame that they canceled it after only one season! Peter Horton is great as Ezekiel Stone and John Glover as the Devil, wow! He actually makes me like the Devil in some weird, twisted way. Maybe, someday the producers will realize what a great show this was (and is) and make some new episodes.
JAG (1995)
High quality stuff!
This must be one of the greatest shows on TV - all time! It got all that you could possibly wish for: action, drama, romance and even some humor! It's not only the plot that is great, 'cause it wouldn't work without all the terrific actors and the intelligent dialog. OK, sure, it might not feel very real every time, but seriously, who cares?! This is, at the moment, the only show that I just can't miss!
Of Mice and Men (1992)
Beautiful!
This is one of the most beautiful films I have ever seen. It really surprises me that it didn't win an Oscar, because I really think this is "Oscar-material", a specially John Malkovich's part as Lennie. That is really good. And of course, Gary Sinise, good as always.. If you haven't seen this movie, go rent it, or even better: buy it!
PS. The music is great, although I haven't been able to find the soundtrack, not in stores and not on the Internet. DS.
