The premise isn't terribly original, but it's worth watch for the incredibly creepy performance of the actor who plays the old man, and it never got boring

Interesting show, it treats vampires as people with a genetic mutation, vampirism can't be transferred through bite and it isn't supernatural. Because the condition runs in families, it creates some interesting character dynamics. The show also looks very "real", the actors aren't attractive and look like average people while the production design looks intentionally low-budget and dirty, but it works to the show's advantage. I hope there's a second season, this is a nice middle ground between boring animalistic feral vampires like in the Strain and the lovely-dovey high school vampires like in...almost everything.

Overall a fun show and the main actress is lovely. The main guy though is way too skinny and feminine to be an MMA fighter and his acting's god awful. It's a show that's not objectively great but people who love MMA will find something to enjoy there. Highly stylized "MMA", but still.

Have you ever watched something completely ridiculous and non-sensical, but you just don't care because it's so fun? That's this show.

Very solid space western, nothing revolutionary but a lot of fun. I also love that the protagonist wears a completely non-functional cape. FACT: Real badasses wears capes.
