That Damn Michael Che: Ballad of a Thin Man (2022)
Does Wayne Brady have to Num-num a Bitc*?
I don't know if I'd say that they saved the best episode for last, but I predict that in the same way that Wayne Brady's line on the Chappelle Show, "Does Wayne Brady have to slap a bitc*," became somewhat iconic, so too will this fake viral Num-Num dance.
Hacks (2021)
Don't Be Offended @Melissa Rivers
It occurred to me, as it did a few of the other reviewers I've watched so far that the Jean Smart character is slightly reminiscent to Joan Rivers. There are probably as many differences. For example, (Joan was devoted to her husband Edgar for life) and although both ladies had one daughter, and I believe I heard Joan Rivers say that she kept a copy of every joke or performance she ever did, if she was analternately miserly,(restaurant and gas station scenes) and an absurdly extravagant antique collector, It's news to me.
City on a Hill (2019)
Only Two more episodes 😭
I am really going to miss new episodes on Sundays. It's so good I'll probably end up rewatching old videos. Excellent writing. Really developed characters. I highly recommend it.
The Fanatic (2019)
Whatever happened to Welcome Back Kotter Sweathog Vinnie Barbarino?
He turned into Moose. James Paxton as Slim, Jacob Grodnik as Todd and Denny Mendez as Amanda and Devon Sawa as Hunter Dunbar Jessica Ubefnaga as his ex, Brenda and Dominic Salvatore as his son, Danny were all well cast and made the most of the limits of the script and direction. Mr. Travolta and his wig however were unforgivable.
Hunter Gatherer (2016)
FOR ANDREW ROYO FANS
Like myself especially but not exclusively. Having thoroughly been enthralled years ago by his breakthrough role in The Wire and more recent polar opposite depiction of a Mayoral Judge confidante, in Amazon Prime series, I marvel again at his range as an actor. I enjoyed it enough to award it 8 stars plus two snaps up! The Amazon Prime series is entitled, Hand of God
