I really wanted to like this, but when I noticed that it only recently came out and was already on Tubi, I was suspicious. Who signed off on this yawnfest? Jay and Kevin both seem like they are just going through the motions, as if this is just a tech rehearsal. There's no energy from either of them. Some of the other reviews here are pretty harsh, and I've only watched the first episode at this point, but frankly I'm stunned that this is so boring. The contestants were likeable, thank goodness, but there seems to be no leadership from Jay, and Kevin doesn't seem to have any role at all. If I was in the studio audience, I'd just want to get up and leave.

Fell in love with this premise within the first 10 minutes! Great setting, characters, humor, diverse cast, etc. A winning combination that I would tune in for weekly!

I was so excited when I found out that there was to be a new Muppets show. Then we got this horrible dreck. Who the heck thought this waste of money and production time was going to be entertaining? Certainly not anyone the same age as most of the Muppets' core fans, who are at least middle-aged at this point, and many older. Yet this first episode played like the most frenzied, low-budget Saturday morning show for the littlest of kids -- all zoomy, multi-colored fast frames with no plot or substance, and way too much yelling. Burn this pathetic garbage now before it contaminates our great memories of a great franchise. Just replay the classic previous shows. In addition, Kermit's voice is unrecognizable and should never have been accepted for this show -- it calls even more attention to how hideous this new production is.
