Living (2022)

Wonderful
16 September 2023
A wake up call for us all, that life is not infinite and that the little things in life can make differences for the better to peoples lives. Don't stress at the small things as they don't matter, don't stress at the big things as they don't matter, live for today and remember this isn't a rehearsal, this if your life, for which you'll never get another chance, be happy and live it the way you want it, without looking forward or back. We make mistakes, but it's never too late to rectify them and make things better. Life is for living and not for being sad. Smile at just one person each day and make their day.

Alan Partridge Live: Stratagem (2022 TV Special)
1/10
A massive Steve Coogan fan, but very disappointed
28 January 2023
I'm sure Steve has made a lot of money from this tour, however I along with many other people have never watched so much drivel in all ours lives. The character Alan Partridge is absolutely superb and one of the finest comedy series of all time, however this effort falls short of being remotely amusing. As someone sat watching this live I cringed along with other audience members when no one was laughing. I know it's the character, however it's supposed to still be funny. It's a perfect example of leaving a classic memory behind and not trying to rekindle it for more money. Don't waste your time, don't watch it.

Heartwarming
19 November 2022
Every now and again a film comes around that makes you smile and feel happy, this is it. Flawless and incomparable, in this modern age of stress, anxiety and worry, a film can depart us from reality for just a couple of hours, this is it. A film which deserves the recognition of stupendous proportions. Nice one :) forever a Christmas repeat. I loved it from start to finish, I don't know why it worked, it's hard to explain, as at times it seemed weak, but the underlying aspects of everyday reality deemed it heartwarming and happy, making you reflect on your own lives. One day we'll look back and realise the little things in life don't matter. Smile and be happy.

Heartwarming

Sometimes a series comes along which touches your heart and makes you realise just how much what you've already got is quite possibly as good as it gets. The grass isn't greener on the other side. This is it. Watch it open minded and make your own mind up. Superb.

Simply Superb and OrIginal

Loved the style, depiction and direction of this true story, I've rarely seen anything quite as emotionally powerful and meaningful in a programme before now. Well presented and defiantly worth watching. I feel drained !

Well Needed Feel Good Movie
5 November 2021
Sometimes a film comes along which surprises you. This was on of those examples. A feel good story or love and inevitable death. Some might say, a future look at what will eventually happen to not only all of us, but the planet as a whole. Tom Hanks is once again mighty fine. A work of art.

A change from the norm
17 September 2021
I loved this movie, it's simple and heartwarming, often a requirement to smile in a crazy world. Made me laugh and cry, an emotional rollercoaster. Take with a pinch of salt and you'll love it.

Clarkson's Farm (2021– )

Simply brilliant
12 June 2021
This show has an underlying message, farming is extremely difficult and we should appreciate what farmers do far more. Clarkson and Amazon did well in providing a funny yet informative series of programmes, I loved every episode and didn't want it to end. I've grown up with Clarkson and he's provided me with many well needed smiles over the years. Thank you Jeremy.

Breathtaking, absolutely breathtaking
24 April 2021
Simply out of this world. I've watched many box sets over the past 12 months of covid 19 lockdown, but this one is quite simply the best. The standard of television has rocketed over the last decade, Apple have excelled themselves.

An embarrassment
18 March 2021
Oh dear, I've always given a movie a chance and never fast forwarded until now. I skipped a bit, through the want of continuing to live. Don't ever try and remake or sequel classics, it simply doesn't work.

An mixed bunch of acting ability
14 March 2021
The movie itself has a weak storyline, meaning it's easy to watch without having to think, so suitable to unwind to. However the acting is truly awful. It's odd how Sky don't seem to be able to get the right directors or producers to produce a believable and professional film. I can't quite put my finger on why it all seems so weak and false. It's almost like a student film studying media in their final year at uni.

The outstanding performance continues

Love the take on the new series, without following on in the same style as other box series, this is different and for the better. Don't forget to wait until the credits have finished.

As good as it gets
20 December 2019
One small step for a man, one giant leap for television. This was by far one of the greatest moments of on demand television that I have ever seen. A rollercoaster of emotions throughout. It's one of those box sets that you just want to never end. The whole production was out of this world. Well done Apple, bring on series 2 ASAP.
