Capitalism should review something...
17 July 2020
The movie was politically satisfying! Shows the great value of being at the middle. Also how social media AND the media control what you'll know and gain money of it. People would appreciate the movie more if they could put their phones away and read books instead of populist celebrities' tweets. It'll be acknowledged later... maybe.

The story of a revolution
7 June 2020
Just like it happens in real life... I am Persian and because of my country's political history I could understand this episode so deeply. We're cryptic animals and politics is a strange playground we've created.

Dracula (2020)

Claes Bang makes it must-see
18 January 2020
As of now, I haven't read Bram Stocker's Dracula book yet, or I did and I don't remember. Anyways, based on not knowing about the book itself, I don't know how far the BBC version goes. But I can strongly claim that it goes the furthest. It's something like more "adapted" than being a "based" on the book. There are three episodes with three different timelines. The first episode is considered to be an intro and base for the whole thing, and gives a general data. Full of horror and exciting. The second episode is indistinct and kinda a prequel for the first episode. In terms of form and story, you'll feel like you're watching a Christopher Nolan product. The third and last episode brings wonders. It's Dracula, a monster from Victoria age in the modern era formed with technology. Here you'll realize almost everything, little stories and characters, them all were symbols and to me, as an Atheist, was a bit weird and wise at the same time. Gotta say I enjoyed it after all but it felt like the third episode was made by an extremist, religious Christian artist group. "Now might be a good time to reflect that beauty is only skin-deep." -Personally, I enjoyed the third episode the most. The contrast between the old and the modern is just gorgeous. Also, the third episode is full of aesthetic details and eye-catching surrealism. Yet, the third episode has had the most complaints on the Internet. Most of them were about the ending -which I agree on with-. It's true. Dracula has a little, brief and not-what-you-expected ending after hours of thrill and joy. Dracula could even be a good option to watch more than 1 time. You'll see almost fine directing and brilliant acts (except Dolly Wells who has had been apathetic and disgusting). You'll meet some new and fresh actors on the show who were really really satisfying. Also, Mr. Claes Bang who plays a fantastic and flawless Dracula. I'd end my review with one sentence: No matter how confused and unsatisfied you might get; Claes Bang is so so flawless, makes Dracula a must-see show. I'll consider Bang's Dracula as one of the best roles of the year. 🌟 7/10
