Such an underrated classic
27 April 2022
This movie is such a classic I cannot emphasise it any further. Every time I watch it's still hilarious and genuinely interesting. Zac Efron acts really well in it (plus duh hottie) and his chemistry with Leslie Mann is kinda hilarious as well.

I wish the world acknowledged how amazing this film is, so many people I know haven't even heard of it. A travesty.

Not actually terrible
27 April 2022
Gotta be honest, I only watched this for Lucy Hale. But it actually turned out to be way better than I thought it would be.

It sounded like one of those terrible Hallmark rom-coms but honestly this film had me laughing and horny at times. And that is all one needs in a rom-com.

Justice for Sabrina Carpenter
27 April 2022
I watched the first film for Sabrina Carpenter, I love her and she's super talented. I watched the second film for Sabrina Carpenter. The writers did her dirty man. Her character was never great but it just really sucks even worse in this film.

Why did we even need a sequel? We didn't. Could've at least called it 'Taller Girl', made her grow even taller or something that at least changed the premise from the first one. But no. Just wasted so many brain cells.

So sad
27 April 2022
It really is sad how downhill this show has gone. Used to be such a funny and light-hearted superhero show. Now it's just flat and boring. I can't even be bothered watching new episodes, and when I do I can't even remember which episode I'm up to because I'm just so disinterested in the storyline.

I completely understand why Carlos Valdes and Tom Cavanagh left the show, it's just not what it was and better to get out now. I really don't understand why the CW keep renewing it. Give it a final season like Arrow that can wrap it up and be wholesome for fans and cast. Enough is enough, please, let it end.

Underwhelming
27 April 2022
I was so excited when they announced Claire Holt (Rebekah), Riley Voelkel (Freya), Charles Michael Davis (Marcel) and Nathaniel Buzolic (Kol) would be back in this episode. This season has definitely been much better than the previous ones so far, with Hope FINALLY activating her vampire side and such.

BUT, I gotta say the appearances of the OG Mikaelson family members was extremely disappointing. We only got a handful of scenes with them, only 1 with all of them (and about 2 lines from Kol!) and then the rest of the episode was about other stuff (not that the other storylines were bad they just had marketed this episode as a big TO reunion).

You can tell at this point that the network and producers etc. Can feel the viewers slipping away and so use these cameos to hype everyone back up. But this is purely fan service. If you want to properly do justice to these characters (and the actors behind them), give them a decent amount of screentime and use it to develop their characters further!!

Now I understand why others like Joseph Morgan have stated that they DO NOT want to be on Legacies. Just giving TO and TVD actors 3 minutes of nothing is in some ways worse than not having them at all. It's like a little tease without actually giving us what we want. They could have at least actually shown us Klaus' funeral that would've been something.

One of the best alternate universe episodes
27 April 2022
Alternate universe episodes are always my favourites and this one did not disappoint! It was a great blend of both comedic/interesting in terms of seeing different versions of characters as well as using it to drive the plot of this season forward. What made it even better was a the amazing acting of both Tyler Hoechlin and Bitsie Tulloch, that scene where they argued with each other about her leaving was probably the best piece of acting I've seen in a teen/CW show in a long while, possible ever. Really great to see the writers expanding and improving on the classic 'alternate universe' trope used in these kinds of shows.
