I opened the movie and it directly pulls me into scenes, I was never bored at all, even I can't blink my eye. All scenes are full with curiosity. I feel all tension with Noa, I can sense something but I never sure about the story. Until the 33rd minute, we can not see any intro even the movie name, but when you wake up with Noa all intro flow down. Scene transition, camera movements all of them absolutely fantastic. I perceive the patience of Noa directly, throughout the movie until her knock. Also, human body parts and fleshes look like very real it is impressed me. After the final scene, I realized this movie is the directors debut... What a success! I am looking forward to the upcoming movies by the director.

The movie starts with a hunting scene also this scene is a summary of the movie but inadequate visual effects directly disturb my perception. Why did you make a huge huge huge ponor? These ponors and cheap photoshops annoy me throughout the movie.

After that, the conversation scene between Murat and Sahin is really long also the first lake scene, I mean the first interactions of Murat and Emre, is unnecessarily long and messages are directly brought to our eyes. Maybe we can ignore those situations but I think we have a big problem. Sahin and Kemal's actings are clearly better than Murat and Emre. How did you not see this? Main character's actings are just extras. This cast choice is definitely wrong. When we think overall. Emin Alper is never going to be a senior director. This one is his fourth movie but still, I can not see a progression.

Before play the movie I was expecting a natural horror but unfortunately, my expectation is not clearly meet. I think this movie's time is okey for a horror movie however it is a bit short for this story. Main characters die quickly. I want to watch teams struggle with natural conditions. Also when they reach the incident place we directly prepare for a thriller. If it happened suddenly it would be more impressive.

Last minutes of the movie about the transportation portal, I like the relation of the portal and the angel tattoo.

If you want to watch something at your leisure time, you can watch.

This is a very ordinary trouble but I am sure nobody think about making a movie about this distress. Most of the Turkish teens experienced this story. We do not need to discuss deeply, movie distinctly show us the situation. Also script facilitate our comparison with other couple and we can clearly see the discrimation.

Movie is just 23 minutes but I felt a great tension. When we have a little time to make a movie if we want to feel tension we need to use actors and cinematography. I think either factor is good in there.

Before finishing my review I want to talk about acting of the security guard. Presumably, essential component of this eerie feeling is strongly bound with this guy's amazing acting.

Entrance scenes of the movie are excellent. Allison Jenney's acting immediately attracts us at first 10 minutes. I got information about most of the characters at short notice, with this feature I could dominate the movie and I didn't lose my attention One of the most important thing is that character behaviors and ideas are sharply separated from each other other ones, in short I clearly feel the conflict.

Switching of the dancing scenes are expertly adjusted. I never bored when I watched these scenes. Besides, story progression is obviously perfect.

"I think it will break the progression and it will be boring" this was my opinion when I saw an the interview scenes, however in this movie interview scenes and events are meshed. These scenes never effect the progression and they didn't lower pace.

Also supporting performers (like Paul Walter) are really good.

The movie tells inner face of this sports competition and razes (the idea of) classical happy American family moreover they openly express it.

However after all the movie does not turn into a success story, that's what I expect throughout the movie. You know, almost all sport movies have a happy ending and this movie also differ from the others with this feature.

Have you ever watched the real tapes of Tonya Harding? Makeups, costumes, physical features and mimics of the performers are almost the same.

I can watch this movie over and over again, I am sure no one wanted to shoot this scenario, final is not certain or there is not any success story but they made this movie, in fact they did this marvellous.

I like the reverse house poster of the film which doesn't properly reflect the story but really nice.

I was getting bored 30-35 minutes later. I can not distinguish the story. Is it about forbidden love or is that a horror movie? Subplot is very prominent in the first half.

The house is by the sea. I like this feature. It is a distinctive characteristic from other horror movies. We are tired of single houses at the woods. If only the director didnt use the fog machine, also we are tired of using fog machines in the movies especially at the forest scenes.

In the last 20 minutes all events suddenly happen. Director didn't extend the chasing scenes which feels like real time apart from the movie.

I like Alison Brie's acting. After the first homicide her transition and becaming insane is really cool and impressive.

The exact story becames clear at the end of the movie. We can say it's curious.

When they opened the drawer at the morgue I felt really uneasy due to the POV. Did you feel that also?

Like the passaport sending scene, some of the scenes were unctuous or exaggerated. Also when they were at the station why didnt he jump over the rail? At that time he must've catched him but he used the stairs instead of cross over this shift breaks the reality of the movie's universe.

Walter Matthau specified that he works for the cia. Why that woman does not want any security from him? Many people want to kill her but she does not attempt to do anything. Is this orange scene real or made for this movie?

However it's lengthy, I liked the story. I really liked Matthau's acting but Hepburn's acting is not as good as I anticipated.

Last 10 minutes contain many plot twists and all of them were beautiful than each other.

Throughout the movie mystery preserves itself. Really good script.

One of the best comedy movies I have ever seen. Almost every scene contain joke or preparing for joke. Unexpected jokes suddenly appear. Year after year many comedy movies made but this movie is still funnier than most of them.

Although story of the movie is very weak. I think they made this for purely humor. Maybe the ironic agent movie thinking can cause this.

Production is moderate, not as bad as the story .

But the most irritating part of the movie is playback scenes, they are completely unrelated from the movie.

Eventhough it contain many weak structure element, I laughed a lot while watching.

Odd kid. We clearly understand this within 10 minutes with her ideas, haircuts or glasses whatever... But few scenes later these wise guy features irritate me also redundant prejudice and preconceptions about people consolidate my thinking. Her sisters opinions overtly explain it "you are a little creature which is intolerant, hysteric and detesting people." If the aim is that, I feel sharply. Main character is Paloma but the story and the message was transferred with Renee's life. Paloma indirectly effected from her life and Paloma's ideas change with the incidents.

I don't like Anne Brochet's acting, seems artificial.

Musics are very similar with each other or I feel like that. Remain technical details didnt annoy me

Until the end theme and lines stay constant on the same line, nice set-up and ending.

Jail and sack fear process curvaceously Two different branch of the story merge at the end so we understand significantly. But for the processing of the characters anxiety, I think some of the scenes are unnecessarily long. Although certain police scenes could have shot better but maybe this nonprofessional feature especially selected for the dystopic property. We watch an open-ended final. these hallucinations are real or these are the indirect result of the authority. This is not certain. Up to you.

Also increasing of the mystery gradually through final this is nice feature.

Mehmet Özgür's acting is perfect. I think the movie deserve 7 points but for this reason I give 8 points.

Rapid cuts and complex entrance scenes are confusing and these features complicate the understanding of the story. Also at the first car scene Marianne does not follow road, despite the pouring rain she looks at victor all the time. That is not realistic.

After that Nicolas Bedos tries to transfer new and old conflict or adjusting to the new life and with these scenes we understand that the Victor's missing the old.

Antoine's job is very suitable for a movie story. Extraordinary.

At the scenes where accepting of the invitation from victor happens I guess after the first plot point, these scenes and musics are very beautiful and amusing.

I am impressed by the daniel auteuil's acting as If he is a real person at real life. During the long times at movie I did not notice normally he is an actor.

But after the set-up of café production. Victor frequently correct the lines at the set-up which is also wanted by him I mean the lines in one's mind's eye. This feature affects the course of the scenes like an inhibitor.

Then Victor returns home. At that times we realizein fact he does not like the real Marianne, he likes to think Marianne up. In a sense he is the lover of perception of the Marianne in him. That is impressive.

Outside of the set-up and return to the past, Victor- Marianne relation was treated properly.

Except the contraction at the entrance scene, this story is very beautiful and wayout

Excellent set-up progression and resolution...

Seems like you are watching a real 1930s movie. If I did not know, movie was shot in the modern times I cannot tell the difference. All scenes are meaningful and containing purpose. The base feature which is silence, provides focus to the movie. But you never say "If only I heard this part of the scene ". We feel all the emotions without talking.

Story is also beautiful. Both conflicts of the movie (changing of the movie types and George-Peppy relations) are clearly mixing within each other and this feature bewitches us.

Also masterly production and costume design satisfy us. Even the stethoscope at the doctor scene is relevant to the period.

Hazanavicius made a silent and black-white movie at 2010s like 1930s and I never am bored. This is achievement.

Plot twist end of the movie and Story is pretty cool but out of these things I can not find any cinematic feature.

As for me , confrantation part of the movie is not clear and progressive.

Sound effects and visual effects are both not sufficient. Makeup and blood effects are neither realistic nor satisfactory . The saw was not cutting the skin you evidently see this. Even when the man was shot, we could not see any entrance injury . Generally I sense a lack of quality. Also there are serious editing problems.

When examined the actings I do not like the acting of the doctor, maybe photographer is slightly more good.

Eventually that is not a horror movie, I think it is adventure and mystery movie

But As I said the story and plot twist can rescue this movie. If only other factors were good.

Firstly the story is pretty original.I think there is not any film about refugee aliens apart from this. Also at the initial part, the interview scene clearly introducting the situation to us and we get information about the history of conflict between aliens and humans. Interview scenes with the locals are so spontaneous and natural. I sense a reality with in it.

After the first plot point, the point of view shot suddenly ended and the reality damaged so if only all scenes do not contain the POV shot except the interviews for rational development.

why other creatures (except Christopher and his son) do not attempt to help ?. If only we watch a chaos between aliens and army It could have served for the story progress.

End of the movie is emotional and realistic.

Satisfying.

Really impressive entrance scene is welcoming to us. Clearly introducing the character, his effects to the other people and his personal characteristics . The scene contains all of them. Also the perfect acting of the Jack Nicholson highly augments this condition. Absolutely marvellous. The time range which is containing of these scenes (about 10 minutes with the police academy scenes ), is pretty short but this is not causing any error. Afterwards the mini plot twist is improving this beautiful effect.

One of the good event in this movie is the process is obvious even though contains the complicated stories. Also the bad end is exraordinary and quite dramatic. I like that Actings are magnificent, it beggars all description.

But after the nice scenes, the part which is when the Di Caprio at the interview is so confusing and just about these times we contiously hear music. The music status progress with the movie this is really annoying to me. If we watch an action movie this doesnt have to mean all of the scenes must contain action and tension music. We watch a dialog scene and in the background constantly hearing a music together with it. The music pull me out from the movie. What am I doing now? Am I listening to music or watching a film?

So my general suggestion is fairly good. But I think this is a bit exaggerated. (43. best movie at the imdb list) There is no doubt this is a good movie but I didn't find it a cult movie.

First 30 minutes of the movie is really good and the atmosphere pull me into the movie. But I wish the place called elysium described more. This feature did not satisfy me :/ although I think this runtime is too short. If the time pass 2 hours, that ambience can be transferred more accurately. All in all the movie at distant times from now so I wonder it. Although I think the cast is too small. If only they could spend much more money.

If we take actings, I don't like the Alice Braga. Also Matt Damon is unstable and wavy as usual. Foster is good as expected. As far as my idea it include a couple of logic and editing errors but I like that movie. Fluently and clearly sci-fi movie. You should watch.

The only positive thing in the film is the introduction of the life of an ordinary couple to us and we feel a romantic atmosphere throughout the movie. For example the seperation scene at the end is so emotional. If you want to watch this with your girlfriend, you can find a lovely movie. That's it, no more positive thing so we can come to the cinematic features now.

We instantly watch the meeting scene as soon as the start and I think this movie is about falling in love. But I couldn't find any conflict. Conflict is base of the movie. If the scriptwriter do not produce a conflict, movie cannot progress, also you don't understand the inner world of the character.

When we arrive at the 20. minute Jesse asks a sexual question to the Celine. At rare bat... He recently met with this girl at the train, the script is not rational for me.

They converse with each other continously. If I want to watch this, I can go out and observe people at the street.

Progress of the story or introduction of the inner world of the character... Dialog scenes must contain one of these two things but we cannot find any of these things at that movie. The most important issue is movie is not attracting me. Okey we can find a dramatic premise "mutual love"... But where is the aim. There is no dramatic need which is basis of the movie. I dont have a reason for watching this

If we can find a beautiful cinematography with this meaninglessness maybe I can understand this situation at that time. But this thing is also absent.

Approx. at 35. minute we watch a kissing scene. If the dramatic need is that thing (falling in love and obtaining affection), movie is finished now??

Apart from all these, movie contains bloopers and editing errors apparently.

Also we have a fortuneteller scene... Terrible acting and common comments about the girl (like a real fortuneteller tales lol)

Movie is told with the pictures. Cinema is visuality. We don't find a slightest thing about this issue in this movie. This is not a novel. We have to watch an action, mimic or expression of the emotions... There is no need for spending money. They could record a podcast and we could listen this

Although I didn't find it romantic, the Jesse. Appox. 3 different scenes made me feel a horny guy. As if only purpose of the Jesse is having sex.

Throughout the movie I want to escape as soon as possible. I push myself constantly to finish it.

DO NOT WATCH

Clear, relevant and perfect story. There is no unnecessary scenes until the end, you never get down throughout the story. Plot points smootly arranged as much as possible. Also curiosity is preserved itself. Narrator types of introduction is adequately clarifying the story and you can exert dominance to the movie with ease. In short, you don't lose your focus from the movie.

You can understand properly the whole dramatic need and context within 10 minutes. This short time is certainly important for the connection of the audience. Also the purpose of the character is so serious but the incisively jokes are distracting our perception and you don't feel any tension. Besides the situations of these years are unfurling to us.

In addition I like the camera movements throughout the movie as per these years.

The only problem which I found is dubbing. If only they could make more elaborate dubbing

I think I have watched a simple and cheap teenager movie which is from 2005. The story is so strong for a nice film but I am afraid they could not use correctly. Although visual effects are not outstanding if you want to choice like fantastic movie. Seems like producer did not want to spend money for this movie I sense an intense lack of quality and cheapness. Character introduction is pretty crucial in movies like this because we watch a loser men-women and apparently they improve themselves with time but I didn't take proper information before the action especially for girl. And then suddenly plot point 1 was over, they included the game. After that time during 20 minutes we watch the sexy girl joke. The story is never going on in that times. After the first scenes of motorbiker guys we watch billions of scenes which are trying to make epic. Al the time with increasing music sound, somebody explore himself and decide to become self-confident person, 5 minutes later again I watch the same thing . At least 4-5 scenes are like this. I have never watched a regularly rising of character story. Because of this reason I don't feel any signal of victory before the resolution part of script.

Frankly, I like the game-inside point only. Rest of the movie don't satisfy me, if you want to spend time with your children you can choose it otherwise no need for watching.

Prima facie we see the alteration of emotions in the movie and this property apply properly. But loudly high pitched guitar sound is irritating me, whenever I focus to the scene this loud music take me out from the dramatic condition.

If I tackle the acting, clearly good ( except the truck driver, they portrayed an exaggerated acting there ). Although script is also adequate and fluent.

Editis disturbed me sometimes, especially in the scenes where the music is suddenly cut and the scene is changing. even though rare, this fault really annoyed me.

for all that I have watched a lovely movie and you should watch it.
