A feel-good movie!
5 April 2001
This was one of the better "video game turned into movies" movies that was made. The characters were well-explained and their backgrounds were too. Rayden (played by Christopher Lambert) did a spectacular job and also kept a dark sense of humor throughout the entire film! This movie is worth seeing a few times.

Two things were bad about this movie...
5 April 2001
There were only two VERY unfortunate things that made this movie what it is. The first was that it is a sad state of affairs that this was Raul Julia's last picture. The second was that it was NOT Jean-Claude Van Damme's. I love all the movies that they turned into video games but honestly found myself repugnated by this movie.

have you never been afraid?

I actually was forced to watch this by my cousins at the time. This movie made me want to gag but at the same time, these kids who were 9 to 11 years old enjoyed it immensely. Now they've all moved onto bigger and better bands and I still have bad memories that will probably stay around forever.

not nearly as bad as you might think...
3 April 2001
This movie was not bad at all. As a matter of fact, I rather enjoyed it. This movie featured all Beatles music and Aerosmith had an awesome song in it! Sometimes people look back at an era in history as being bad but the Bee Gees were very successful at the time and they viewed them as being the best for the role.

A somewhat confusing use of time...
31 March 2001
After the greatness that was the first movie, this one really confused me. It seemed a bit much like a game, rather than a movie. One villain after another would come on by and there would hardly be an explanation. They didn't even explain Mileena. Had a lot to live up to from the first movie but didn't deliver, with the exception of the Rayden character. He was decent.

No one should have to watch this!!
31 March 2001
This movie was so bad that they should have put up a warning before it started that it was going to be lousy. It isn't enough that Mahoney and Hightower weren't in it, but you knew after number 2, it was going to stink. This was the worst of all of them and rightfully, the last one.

The best of the Star Trek movies!
31 March 2001
If you miss this one, you are not a Star Trek fan of any type. Revenge, action, and Spock gets killed. What more could you ask for? This movie was downright awesome and was the only movie that I actually liked Kirstie Alley in! Watch it and be your own judge! from a trekker forever!

A well-made musical!!
31 March 2001
Gene Kelly and Olivia-Newton John were really good in this movie. The movie itself may be a bit dated, but it is still well-done, and the music is timeless! I will say that most people have to be in the right mindset to watch it. Most musicals require intelligence to stay through and this is one that was just good, period. I could easily think of a hundred movies that are worse than this.
