Black Widow (2021)
Funny and good send off for Natasha
As a non-comic book reader, i LOVED this film. Having a sister myself, I appreciated the banter between Nat and Yelena. Everyone in my theater laughed throughout the movie. It was nice to watch a marvel movie about someone without superhuman gifts. A lot of action with some heartfelt moments. I would've liked to know more about Natasha's defect and Budapest, but it seemed like they wanted to use this movie more to set up Yelena's future (looking forward to seeing her more). Overall, I enjoyed this send off for Natasha and I can't wait to buy the movie.
All Grown Up! (2003)
Pleasantly surprised in my re-watch
I loved this show when I was in elementary school. I am in my mid-twenties now and am rewatching some of my favorites like Rocket Power and As told by Ginger. Im only 10 episodes in, but I'm enjoying it so far. It's not too cheesy, and has real life problems/lessons. Writers also throw in some adult humor every so often that kids wouldn't pick up on.
Boy Meets World (1993)
Favorite show growing up!
Loved this show growing up! I recently started rewatching the show in my mid-twenties and I still love it. The show is so realistic. Disney shows now try so hard to be funny, but miss out on the relatable moments. Not to mention the annoying bright colors. BMW was a great show to watch characters grow up and learn valuable lessons while still being funny. So many innuendos that went over my head as a kid. My only criticism would be Eric matthews turning into a complete moron in college.
Supergirl: Immortal Kombat (2020)
This is what we've been wanting all season!
Finally, Lena and Kara have an adult conversation and take small steps throughout the episode leading to them explaining their own sides and agreeing to work together against Lex. Katie McGrath was wonderful in conveying strong emotions with subtle glances throughout the episode. Her chemistry with Melissa Benoist elevated every scene they had together.
The Harry Potter scene was brilliant! We saw Brainy willing to sacrifice his own life for his friends and a great Alex scene as vigilante! We finally saw female empowerment back, which has been largely missing to focus on Lex and boost William this season.
Bonus: William got shot and had minimum scenes this episode.
Negatives- this seasons plot was so unorganized, it was hard to tie it all together at the end. I wish William would have died since he has been unnecessary after superfriends solved his missing bestfriend drama.
