Terrible terrible show. I tried to like it, watched every episode.. Now I'm pissed I wasted my time.. If you want to grade a show on terrible acting, over acting, being just plain flippin weird, all ontop of a stupid storyline then you may like this.. This went well beyond typical coming of age stories. Being just straight up weird, dumb, like they're all missing a chromosome or something as well as the crap acting seems to be a very common theme, like how weird & stupid can we be today? I'm shocked Chloe took part in this even w/her background in choosing some of the more different type movies she's acted in prior to this train wreck.. The music is beyond terrible.. And along w/all of this ridiculousness the kids after throwing some weird temper tantrum will all of a sudden brake out in song like they're in some music video?? And in the season finale they show the extra lame band that sung one of the song the 2 main characters suddenly broke out in a video song with.. This band is 10x worse than the show.. I normally like most all HBO series but this was by far the absolute worst thing ever. I can't even call it a show because it is a series of straight dog poo.. Please stop telling people they are so good, great or that crap like this is good because they are being so artistic, avant-garde in their unique style.. Just be honest with them! Tell them your show sucks! The story sucks! The acting is ridiculous, over acted & oh ya, it SUCKS!! I love how at the end of each show a couple of the actors will talk about how pathetic their characters really are.. Most uncreative, ridiculous, absurd, over acted & terribly acted show ontop of a really stupid, stupid storyline.. If I could give this negative 100 stars I would.. HBO Please DO NOT bring this back for a 2nd season! Give another show the air time.. This show doesn't deserve the airtime.. It does however deserve to be at the bottom of a trash can.. Do not waste your time, you have been warned..

I can appreciate other people's "Art". The cinematography is the only positive about this movie... The story could have been good but it was so slow & just ridiculous... I tried, I really did but when it ended I was thinking, why? .. I love all of these actors.. I have loved watching all of their work.. They are each so very talented but even they couldn't make a bad script look good... The 3 starts are for Kirsten, Joe & Pilou who so very graciously agreed to do this movie! I hope they were each paid very well!

I couldn't get past the trailer... the narrator in the trailer was slow & corny.. I literally couldn't wait for him to stop talking... Had I seen/heard more on the actual movie or just not seen the trailer at all, I might have watched it but the trailer was SO bad I just couldn't.....
