Isanghan byeonhosa Woo Young-woo (2022)
Changes your perception of Autism.
It's had me laughing, crying and mesmerised. Incredibly well scripted and acted. Just watch it and you'll walk away a happier person.
Korean TV is a well oiled machine that consistently delivers quality shows and concepts. Far removed from the k pop type of shows we often see. This is simply class.
Black Summer (2019)
Second season is just breath taking
Far superior to TWD. This is high adrenaline stuff!
One if the finest dystopia pieces on screen right now. The beauty of this is that its disjointed approach actually works well. You really feel the tension, despair and survival at all costs. The second season IMO, is sublime and there are stand out episodes that are just jaw dropping. Give 8t a chance and ignore thee 1 star reviews.
Bad Trip (2021)
I'm still laughing
Maybe not a film if you are a republican or morally repressed. For everyone else this is a genuinely funny film. A roller coaster of laughs and very original gags. Watch this if you what a Chinese finger trap is. Heres a clue, they didn't use fingers!
It's a Sin (2021)
Incredibly amazing
Having grown up in the 80s I can relate to the funeral detail in the show. This is just beautifully painful and enjoyable at the same time. Just watch it, and you'll be happy that you did.
Stath Lets Flats (2018)
I keep coming back to this!
This is just brilliantly written and incredibly well acted. This is the definition of sublime comedy.
Two Doors Down (2016)
Watch it again and again
Quite possibly the nicest and yet the funniest comedy on TV. Excellent writing and superb acting feom all the cast. Don't miss it!
Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector (2020)
Meh
It started off okay, by that I mean the first 10 minutes. But then, it was quite irritating to watch. I enjoyed some parts of the show but it is not as good as the movie or books. My wife watched an episode with me and laughed at the crazy acting and the angry Lincoln. If there is a season 2 and I happen to be in another lockdown I may watch it. The reality is I probably won't hold my breath for S2
Da 5 Bloods (2020)
A bit disjointed but very good.
Not as bad as the reviews on here suggest, however there were too many elements that did not connect too well.
On a positive note it was an enjoyable movie with an excellent soundtrack and some great performances. Watch it and make up your own mind
