Cobra Kai: Head of the Snake (2022)
Just keeps on getting better!!
To keep a long story short, I thoroughly enjoyed the entire season and especially the final episode. The direction, acting, character development, action sequences and build ups just keep getting better. I just couldn't keep myself from waiting another day to watch the other episodes, it's just too addicting. Every character in my opinion has been given a fair amount of screen time and a role to contribute to. A roller coaster of an episode, you don't know what to expect, with a couple of plot twists. Kudos to the entire team for pulling off such an incredible season and here's to a quick return during season 6 (Hasn't been confirmed)
Moon Knight (2022)
Why all the hate??
I can't fathom to understand why there is a lot of hate for the finale of this episode. Sure the CGI was messy and there might have been a few cheesy moves and a couple of coincidences, but Marvel is trying to connect with their audience and approaching their feedback. Let's all be real, clearly the mass population wanted Steven to return as well as a look at Jake Lockley (which many people believed that the finale won't reveal it due to the connectivity issues). Sure the issue being the fact that Harrow got defeated off-screen led me to deduct a few points here and there, can we all just appreciate that Marvel did take into account the feedback of the viewers, unlike *cough* "Aquaman 2" (Hey Amber Heard).
All in all, an absolutely phenomenal series for me and hoping to see the return of a season 2 or a Moon Knight cameo in further Marvel projects.
Moon Knight: Gods and Monsters (2022)
Fingers crossed for season 2
End of the show and it didn't disappoint... Now I am absolutely certain a lot of us were thinking about the amount of loose ends this show had to tie in one final episode, and as far as I am concerned, they nailed it. From my standpoint the first couple of minutes drowned my hopes of the finale being as superior as I wanted it to be but as the clock ticked on and on I realized just how adequate this episode was. Sufficed to say, Mohammed Diab has delivered a quality TV series which until now seemed almost unfeasible due to Marvel swinging and missing. Couple of twists and turns in the episode which leads me to point out that this was another phenomenal episode. So let's all come together and pray to the Egyptian gods that Marvel satisfies us with a season 2 especially after the post credit scene.
Moon Knight: Asylum (2022)
Loki has competition
So Loki was an absolute phenomenal series, and in my opinion one the best marvel show delivered in a while until this moon knight dropped out. I was am a massive fan of moon knight and I am not tryna be biased since I was long awaited this series. Although entire series has been flawless for me (except the 3rd episode had a bit of ups and downs) this is by far the strongest episode delivered in this series and other marvel shows. Its an absolute banger and just an emotional rollercoaster through out the episode with decent CGI and phenomenal writing and directing. Once again Oscar Isaac has proven to be the best possible cast for the character and let's all hope the finale is going to be as good or even better than this episode....
Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021)
Oh how can i wait for spiderman 3??
WARNING SPOLIERS!!!!!!!
To begin with this sequence is far better than the 1st one, Carnage has far more screen time than riot and a much better antagonist (obviously) I still don't understand why they had riot in the first movie rather than riot. As Venom's arch nemesis carnage is far more impactful than Riot. Secondly, the relationship of Venom and Eddie is absolutely stunning in this one. The first Venom displays Eddie having problems with Vemom living in his body but this one is the absolute opposite, with Venom having problems living by Eddie's rules and unable to eat human brains(ew) with having to live only by eating chickens and an uneven amount of chocolate Venom has had enough of Eddie and in a fit of rage decides to leave his host. Subsequently this develops more problems as Venom has a hard time choosing the perfect host like Eddie and adapting to the change with an unlikely chance of survival he slithers towards countless hosts and is dissatisfied with every one of them and approaches towards Ms Chen.. that's right the old lady also has an improved role in the movie.
The tragedy of Cletus Kassady and how it morphs him into an evil mass murdering physchopath leading to the best live action antagonist Carnage is absolutely mind blowing. This is a development from the last one as Riot is not given any background info or even Drake for a change. People who haven't read comics get to understand Kassady much better and understand his issues which sets the movie tone dark and perfect for introducing Carnage.
Furthermore, the post credit scene leaves fans to be asking for more as Venom is soon to be introduced in the Spiderverse in the upcoming Spiderman 3 along with the sinister 6. Lastly, Just the stunning visuals and effects have made this movie an absolute pleasure to watch. With amazing graphics and CGI and the overall design of carnage with insane voice over is just one of the many reasons I am in love with this movie and Carnage. The only reason there are 2 stars missing is due to the annoying role and introduction of 'Shriek' along with the major stepback of the duration of the movie. But you know what they say 'Quality over quantity' is the percet statement for defining this movie and i would absolutely recommend this cinematic masterpiece to be watched by along with friends and family.
