Made in Heaven (2019)
Gave The Show A Watch 4 Times So Far!
I truly commend how relevant the show has managed to be. It's definitely not just another show, it's a show that reflects on what sort of society we live in. Season 1 is concluded in 9 episodes, 9 episodes have so much to offer. The show truly is a work of art as it is artistic, musical, engaging, immersive, realistic and so raw!
Show led by Tara Khanna played by Sobhita Dhulipala And Karan Mehra played by Arjun Mathur who are wedding planners who go by the name 'Made In Heaven', a wedding planning company. The leading cast is supported by Jaspreet Kaur played by Shivani Raghnuvanshi, Kabir Basrai played by Shashank Arora, Adil Khanna played by Jim Sarbh and. Faiza Naqvi played by Kalki Koechlin and many other promising artists.
A show as provoking as this is a treat to give a watch to. Each episode has a new wedding story with special appearances by so many promising artists. I wholeheartedly admire how each episode has compelling messages to convey to the viewers. The show talks about how biased we all get with times, how rogue we sometimes have to go for our good, homosexuality and how one has to pretend to be someone else to be accepted by our stereotypical-problematic society. So many messages throughout the watch that you're certain to be provoked and have your eyes wide open.
The show is nothing but compelling enough to make changes to the way we take a look at things. Characters so complex, acting so authentic, story so raw, realistic, compelling and provoking, cast so promising, music and location selection for each wedding taking place each episode, the makers have made sure that nothing is compromised.
A show as good as this has me wanting more makers to come forward to offer stories as promising as this particular show. Truly thankful that this show is made and served to its viewers as an eye opening entertaining work of art. I couldn't me more glad that I gave this show a watch!
Season 2 is expected sooner than ever, so keeping hopes high since the first season set a bar for itself!
Mai (2022)
Glad I gave it a watch!
A gripping thriller show concluded in just 6 episeods. The show is certain to keep you on the edge of your seat. I was truly biting my nails throughout the watch. Sakshi Tanwar has my heart, so does Seema Pahwa and the entire cast of the show.
Mai: A Mother's Rage revolves around Sheel Chaudhary played captivatingly by Sakshi Tanwar. After witnessing her own daughter being hit and instantly killed (seemingly a road accident), Sheel is left questioning whether it was just another accident or a planned murder.
When she confirms that her daughter was actually assassinated under the command of some corrupt people in power, she sets out to avenge her daughter's unfortunate death. While she starts extracting revenge on people who were a part the killing as a merciless mother, she gets lured into the deadly game of cat of mouse.
Season 2 can highly be expected, as the show ends on a note that can establish many more intense thrilling moments!
Cobalt Blue (2022)
Absolutely worth it!
A subtle movie that you will definitely be adoring throughout the watch and later on. Definitely in love with The Colour Blue after watching the film. The film is a work of art, hands down. Simple characters with relatable issues dealt by them, you will be appreciating the film. The entire thing about the film is so realistic, so convincing, it's definitely worth all the hype, appreciation and word of mouth.
