Swamp Zombies!!! (2005)
Vile, Putrid, Piece of Excrement.
I watch many independent horror movies. I'm a real Indie Movie Buff. Trust me when I say I've sat through some awful movies. As a self confessed B-Movie fan, It takes a lot for me to write such a bad review. But in all honesty, Swamp Zombies is absolutely pathetic.
The editing was the worst attribute of the whole movie. You can hear the camera's sound cutting out, as the scene changes. They seem to drown this noise by using some Un-Suspenseful, dire Backing tracks.
The acting is Terrible. Without a doubt the worst I have ever seen in a movie. I'm not just saying this for effect either. Genuinely, Where'd they find there actors, off the street? As for the camera-man, I can only assume he was drunk, since he couldn't hold the camera still.
The setting was Grotesque. It was supposed to be a lab. It was a room, with a few curtains and some wood blocks for about six extras to lie upon. Tragic.
There was a sex scene, Involving two Ugly as hell 'Actors'. The girl wearing a dirty old grannies bra. It just looked totally amateur, and was probably the LEAST arousing thing to Disgrace my screen.
There are two FIXED reviews on here Obviously posted by the cast/Crew. About six lines of non-detailed bull about the movie, making it sound like a blockbuster masterpiece. On Killerwolf films other movie Curse of the wolf, There are two more fixed reviews there. As if these losers are writing their own reviews giving there movies 10 out of 10. It's pathetic.
Avoid this trash like an STD. Even if you like B-Movies, And Cheese.
1/10 - Some girl has a shower scene = Nice T*ts.
Savage Island (2004)
Good & Enjoyable Movie
Well, I was hoping this would be a cheesy horror-flick, that I would end up laughing at. Well, I hold my hands up... I was wrong! Savage Island (AKA Deadman's Island, The UK DVD Title) turned out to be a really enjoyable & decent film.
The best thing was the tension. There's a scene where one man alone is fighting against the whole savage family. It's pretty intense! And the storyline is really good.
The acting was a mix. I thought both Lindsay Jameson & Winston Rekert were very good as the Savage family parents. Then again I thought Kristina Copeland & Steven Man were just an annoying and unlikely couple.
The other thing I have a problem with was the quality of the film. It was sometimes hazy & blurry, to the viewers annoyance. If they had done a little recasting and had shot with a better camera. This movie would have had a higher rating, And a bigger interest on its message board! To sum up, Savage Island was an enjoyable movie, with a good plot. I would recommend it.

S.I.C.K. Serial Insane Clown Killer (2003)
Not That Bad
I didn't really have too high expectations for the film. I love checking out Independent horror flicks, So I thought I'd give Grim Weekend (AKA S.I.C.K - Serial Insane Clown Killer) a chance. I realise that people may like movies regardless of their reviews. So I'll just try and weigh up the Good & Bad points for those interested.
Let's Start with the bad points... Acting! The so called 'acting' was atrocious. Ken Herbert was by far the worst. His whiny voice was the main problem of them all for this film in my opinion. Also he was casted in a role that was the complete opposite of him. He was supposed to be a 'Charmer', according to the film, When reality is that he's small fat guy, with an annoying tone. The casting department made a fatal mistake. Next we move on to the camera, The movie was filmed on a Digital Camera. Which is really enough said. But I'll add that it took me 30 minutes to forget about it.
Good Points... The plot to me was really entertaining, Then again I am only a 15 year old. Who happens to hate clowns. In some places the plot was original, A chubby clown running around in woods etc. It made me laugh quite a lot that the character Mark couldn't manage to out-run a over-weight clown.
To sum up if you enjoy cheesy C-Movie Horror flicks then check out this movie. It's quite entertaining some times. If your over the age of 20 this will NOT float your boat, and I recommend you avoid it.
I'll add that I rented this with Land of the Dead (2005) and I found this more entertaining.
A better Low-Budget horror film to check out is: 'Detour'
