Shindig! (1964–1966)

A True Classic

Shindig! was one of the greatest music variety shows in the world. I truly miss the show. It's a classic. I was 23 when the show first aired on national TV. I remember the catchy tunes played by bands such as The Beatles, and musician Eddie Rubin and singer Johnny Rivers playing the song "Memphis" and "Maybelline" on that show. They were one of the best bands of that time.

The Hollywood Palace (1964–1970)

Where legends performed

This was such a great show. The Hollywood Palace stood where the modern club "Avalon" now stands.

The best music performances that I remember on the show included such acts as singer Johnny Rivers and drummer EDDIE RUBIN performing the song "Secret Agent Man," and SONNY & CHER singing together.

Hilarious!

This comedy/sci-fi short was so enjoyable. From start to finish are non-stop laughs. It would've been great if this film were longer however.
