Ghost Adventures: House Calls (2022)
THIS is what ghost adventures should always be
I love this show! Having them go to ppls homes is much more powerful, personal, in a much smaller space, and these ppl need real help. It's much better than watching them go these big buildings with a long haunted history, other paranormal teams check out, and it's basically just verifying activity for themselves. There's something so different about ppl being affected in their own homes who need real help. I hope they keep it this way and its not just a one season deal.
Ghost Adventures (2008)
No direction of show anymore
I'm watching season 25. There used to be a clear beginning, middle and end. The beginning was a little background, the middle was the investigation and the end would be them giving answers as to who was there, why, and how to help the people who called them in. Now it's like a movie that ends in the middle. They go in, get lots of evidence, and as things are still happening, the credits roll and the show is over. There's no ending, no answers, no help for the owners, nothing. It was also so much better when they went into regular ppls homes. It was more personal, a smaller area, a different type of activity because it was around the family, and ppl were brought in to offer real help. Now it's just bars, prisons, museums, mansions.. places that have a long history of being haunted that have been investigated before them and will be investigated after them. Their change in format is not for the better.
Paranormal Lockdown (2016)
SOOO GOOD!!
I just started watching this on Discovery+ and know the show is no longer on.. but it should be! Katrina and Nick work so well together, are both so passionate about the paranormal and they're both very genuine. I like that they just get into it. Half the show isn't taken up by interviews, with the other half being taken up by annoying ads. For skeptics of the paranormal, their reviews are always going to be negative with a low rating because they don't believe what they're watching even happens. For those who do believe, this is one of the best paranormal shows. There's no ego or arrogance like Ghost Adventures because of Zak. There's no "me too" moments like on Ghost Adventures either. Nobody can have an experience (good or bad) on Ghost Adventures without Zak immediately taking the spotlight with "me too".. always having to one up the other guys to make any experience now about him. Katrina and Nick listen to each other, respect each other and go to some really creepy places. They really need to bring this show back because they go back to the basics of what investigating is supposed to be. It's just the 2 of them with one camera guy, They get locked down for 72 hours instead of coming in to say "yep, it's haunted" and then leave 2 hours later. They do REAL investigating.
The Hustler (2021)
Addicting!!!
I love this show!! I miss these types of game shows and so glad to have this one. It's not only fun to watch but it's fun to try and figure out who the hustler is and play along. Unlike other game shows where you have to listen to 10 minutes of everyone's sob stories and personal struggles (like The Wall), this one goes back to the basics of just fun. I highly recommend!
Mustang Sally's Horror House (2006)
A comedy, not horror
This was a funny movie even though I'm sure that wasn't the intention. People get shot but react to it like 10 seconds later. The acting is so bad that this movie becomes a comedy real fast.
A Brush with Evil (2015)
Creepy
I dont know why everyone thinks there has to be some exorcist head spinning moment when it comes to the paranormal. And I definitely don't understand why those who don't even believe in this topic feel the need to comment at all. You're going to call it fake no matter what happens. If you do believe, you should check this out.

A Haunting on Brockway Street (2019)
Great documentary.. not fake
If you're a skeptic, you're always going to find a reason to call shows like this "fake". I've seen ppl post that anyone on the crew could have slammed the doors, made the noises, the footsteps, the voices etc.. Again, if you're a skeptic, that's always going to be the claim. For me, it comes down to whether you trust the people doing the investigating or not. These are respected paranormal investigators who have literally given their lives to this field as well as their reputations. When these specific investigators say there was nobody else there, either you believe them because you trust them, or you don't. I've been following the work of these guys and I do trust them. If you don't, or don't believe in this topic, you're always going to find a "logical explanation" and dismiss what's happening as somehow setup. So don't watch or go to a haunted location to seek the truth with your own eyes and ears.
Hell House LLC (2015)
Best scary movie in a long time
Many have already given the premise so let me just say it's been a long time since a movie scared me like this. I mean, sure I've watched plenty that have jump scares and can be creepy but that comes and goes. This was one of those movies where I was looking around the room, debating whether to turn the light on. Found footage movies are everywhere, but when done right, they can be downright terrifying. This was that movie. There's a subtlety to it but it's done in a way that just intensifies the fear. Excellent movie! Highly recommend!
