Doctor Who: Legend of the Sea Devils (2022)
Very poor filler episode
Really disappointing episode after a decent run in The Flux and an acceptable New Year special. It's really obvious that the story was cobbled together to fulfil a contractual obligation to make an Easter episode. Even the "special" effects looked like they'd been hashed together under the threat of a deadline.
Billions: The Big Ugly (2022)
Anybody else bored of seeing the word "woke" in reviews?
The show's really run its course. The plot doesn't make sense : what is Chuck's motivation? He used to have a personal animosity against Axe, now he's just chases Prince for no reason other than that the writers have made him do it.
Lucifer: Bloody Celestial Karaoke Jam (2021)
Once more with feeling
I don't have a problem with musical episodes per se but the songs have to add to the story. In this episode they're just shoved in there because they can be. They're not even that well performed. Bit of a gimmick episode. Very little actual plot.
Cosmic Sin (2021)
I can only assume this is some kind of tax write off
It's not even a nonsense plot. It's no plot at all. Terrible acting. Abysmal script. Special effects that look like they were done for a 1990s computer game. Sound mix all over the place so you can't hear half the dialogue (which is a blessing in this case). Music composed by someone who was watching a different movie. Costumes leftover from a Buzz Lightyear cosplay convention. Locations scouted from a 1980s episode of Doctor Who. I bet even the on set catering was dreadful. The only good thing about this movie is that it's fairly short.
Best Leftovers Ever! (2020)
A weak idea, poorly executed
It's not a great idea for a show but it could have been made passable. Unfortunately they failed miserably. The host is so OTT and her voice grates. The two other judges have zero chemistry.
The Blacklist: Captain Kidd (No. 96) (2021)
Mediocre
Mediocre episode. Not great, not terrible. Blacklist by numbers.
SAS: Red Notice (2021)
God this is awful
Would appeal massively to twelve year old boys but for anyone else this is dire. Terrible plot with terrible cringe worthy dialogue. I suspect it was written and directed by Michael Scott from The Office.
FBI: Broken Promises (2020)
Just once
The one time they don't shout out and announce their presence is when OA is trying to protect his girlfriend. What a time to suddenly decide to sneak up on someone.
The Blacklist: Gordon Kemp (No. 158) (2020)
More triggers than a gun fair
Average episode. Hilarious triggered right wing gun nuts in the reviews
The Blacklist: Hannah Hayes (No. 125) (2019)
Silly sci-fi
The plot is nonsense but it's fun to read the reviews of the triggered right-wingers
Traitors (2019)
Surprisingly bad
Terribly written, historically inaccurate and apparently filmed by someone blind and suffering from Parkinson's.
