Actually impressed with this one
18 August 2022
Been in the mood for some good cosmic horror lately and this one really surprised me.

Nothing exactly "groundbreaking" nor does it have a big budget. But i was genuinely surprised at how good it was. Definitely worth a watch for fans of 80s cosmic horror, gore and practical effects.

In a lot of ways, this falls somewhere along the lines of The Thing, Silent Hill, The Mist and Hellraiser. But definitely I would definitely recommend this little gem.

Great Idea and funny material!!
21 January 2007
This show is perfect!! Every time you hear a stand-up comic say something funny you instantly try and visualize what they just said. This show does the exact thing...perfectly.

This show is great for introducing you to comics you might not have heard of and also uses one of the best parts of their routines and puts a picture in front of your face. From Dane Cook to John Pinette.

So basically this show is of 2 babies watching TV. What they see on TV is what the comics say. They only use maybe 1 minute or so with each comic before the station is changed and a new comic is introduced. Through this you witness what the situation might have been like and make it funnier with the artwork.

Definitely worth a try for anyone who loves comics or loves to laugh and always in the mood for a good joke. Not everyone will like this show however. Like some other guys posting comments about this show. The artwork isn't the best done and can get annoying some of the time but the comic material is what drives it home. Sadly however this show has been taken off the air and you'll have to wait for re-runs. Or look it up on tuber.

Two thumbs up!!!

Warning: Spoilers
I absolutely love this show. It's whole basis (if you get the joke or like this stuff) is about poor southern folks lives in a strange way i.e. through southern squids. Anyway the reason i like the show is because i'm a born country boy who moved to hick country Kentucky and people like this can be found here. When every kid grows up hunting and all that shim. Anywayz this show is all about how random and unorthodox southern simple folk are.

And now To the story....+ spoiler for the first episode. (You kinda have to) It's about a family of southern, poor, squids. The 1st episode introduces you to Jr who lives with his aunt and grandmother (grandma being VERY senile and random). He's a good simple kid who just wants to make is dad proud and have fun. He's on the search for his father who he has never met. So he looks for him and finds him......in jail. After seeing him he loves his dad and hates him. His dad drinks, kills, is ignorant and outrageous-Father like son. So the good old warden lets him off the hook because he's full of joy for the reunited father and son. BAD IDEA!!!!

This sets a chain reaction off for the rest of the season with Early (Jr.'s dad) trying to be a father, getting a job, and just getting life back together while he lives with his sister, mom and son. Plenty of knife fights, gun battles, random deaths and weird hats.

The point is to give this show a try. You'll either love it or hate it. All in all very enjoyable and you'll feel smarter every time your done watching the show.

THE CHOICE IS YOURS!!!!!

Powerful

It shows you normal life and how your dreams of fame won't happen to a lot of people. How people on it are supposedly gods and you can't taste that. In addition to that it shows how the addiction sits in and never truly lets go. If you really watch it there is addictions to other things that you may not catch until the second time you watch the movie. But the message is the same. You watch the rise and eventual fall of each main characters in the movie. You see when or during they're hooked and watch as they crumble under the weight of they're own addiction. And the acting is some of the best ever seen. This movie will truly blow you away. It's not something that will leave you saying,"Good movie what else is on." You will stay in the same blown-away mood until the next morning. I recommend this movie to be watched in schools without talking and to only watch the movie. Instead of Gary the drug free Elephant during pep rallies. Then they'll understand how bad drugs are. Conclusion....A MUST SEE. So powerful you'll tear up. It's that overwhelming.
