The Visitation (2006)
it gave me the shakes
Without a doubt the best Christian movie I have ever seen. I have watched nearly every worthwhile movie that my local Christian bookstore has and The Visitation is by far the best. I would never show this film to probably 75% of my church but that's only because Pretti books were kicked out of the church library because they were too real. Although I disagree with them tossing the books out I do agree that Peretti's works are very real. I'm not a Satanist but I do know about some of the things that they do and this movie captures many of those elements. Sadly this movie did suffer from it's smaller wallet but it did well considering what kind of a budget it was given. I haven't read the novel yet and I agree with the others that more character development would have been nice. If you like a good spook but you don't want to suffer the nudity/profanity of most secular movies, pick up The Visitation.
Extremedays (2001)
Great movie!
If I had the option to give it an eleven I would have. Non stop hilarity. One of those really stupid humor kind of movies. Very unique film. Props to the writers of this film. They wrote an amazing film. I just have no idea how they came up with some of this stuff. I nearly pee myself every time I watch the fight scene (which I watch over and over). The sound effects make that scene. I'm not a huge fan of some aspects of the love story but I suppose every movie has to have one at some point. Some of my friends don't like the whole break-out-of-story-and-into-extreme-sports aspect of the movie but it didn't really bother me at all. It showed some pretty talented people doing some pretty cool moves while showcasing some great Christian music (W00t for Pillar).
