Paatal Lok (2020)
grisly rustic and brilliant
Jaideep Ahlawat ! you rock..
A gritty thriller that keeps you hooked until the very end. And its not whodunnit ..its just the direction, the character development and superb acting. The relationships are beautifully developed ... superiors, colleagues, sons and spouses .The juxtaposition of urban and rural was very well handled..
Some of "left liberal saale" and eternal victim effect does come in fray which could have been avoided as it was unnecessary to story line, but what the heck.. its directors baby :) ..he is allowed his FOE !
Special OPS (2020)
slick, fast and kay kay menon !
Got to see Kay Kay in his true glory after ages !!
This guy is god..from star bestsellers to this..wow
Supported superbly by Gautami and Vinay Pathak in Delhi ..and could be better field agents in Middle east !
The villain isn't your caricaturized bad guy.. but the layers could have been developed even further...but still a refreshing change
The strongest point is writing..but then with Neeraj Pandey.. u could count on that
India's Most Wanted (2019)
For once, forget execution and appreciate the story
Wish Neeraj Pandey had directed this. Still, this act was bigger than Surgical strikes ! Pity it doesnt get the attention it deserved. This is a good attempt at telling the story, and deserves to be watched ones
Most of the negative reviews have an agenda, so decide for yourself.
Music Teacher (2019)
Beautiful... with a soul
Beautiful cinematography... a tale of simplicity, love and yearning. Amazing performances by Manav, Neena and Divya. Amrita Bagchi is a whiff of fresh air. All in all, its like listening to the sound of waterfall for 90 mins..
