It's so obvious, yet still obnoxious, that there is a group of fundamental christians, or some fact simile, running around this site who do nothing but write extremely negative reviews, but try to come off sounding like real people writing an unfavorable review so the rest of us won't go see it (and oh boy, maybe they can change the world that way... GET A LIFE!!!). The diabolical thing is that they never mention religion, violence or anything that might give them, knowing that to do so would cause you to just write them off as brainwashed losers. However, some of them are very clever, and if you don't spot them, you have just bought in to their fire and brimstone morality.

OK, regarding this movie; it's exactly what the rest of us would expect to see, it's fun, funny and basically pretty entertaining. Of course it's a bit predictable, etc., etc. But, hey, there isn't anyone going to see this movie expecting it to win academy award nominations. The point is entertainment and a departure from the real world for a couple of minutes. It's all that and more. Grab your gal/guy or your buds and go have a good time. I could tell you about the movie, but why bother, there isn't much to tell beyond the basic plot line, so if you're looking for something deeper, this isn't it. However, that said, this may be exactly what the doctor ordered for entertainment this evening. Enjoy.

I really enjoyed this movie! Sometimes it helps when you have zero expectations, but this movie really turned out to be a surprise and I would have liked it anyway. The story was a bit far fetched, but no more than you average fantasy. However, it had some really great stuff going for it. Andrew lawrence did an impressive job. He was totally believable in both roles, and was in general a pleasure to watch. The writing was tight and the direction good. I like most kid movies that have a good story, message and a sense of humor. This one had all that and more. This is a kid movie that I think anyone can enjoy. It's creative, entertaining, insightful and has a number of good messages. Parents will enjoy it right along with their kids, but you don't need to be either to watch this one; it's just plain fun for all ages. It had a weak point or two - the villains were perhaps a little too silly, but in general was as good as could be expected for the type of movie it is. Highly recommended. Four stars out of five.

Most of the disney original movies are pretty decent, some are even surprisingly good. This is not one of them! This movie is a total waste of time for anyone over 5. The plot is weak, the situations stupid, overdone and downright boring. I can't believe Neil Israel did this movie. Did he read the script before he decided to do this project?? I'm sure that disney was counting on the strength of their lead, Tahj - a very watchable and likeable actor, but there is just nothing else in this movie. It's flat, boring and basically an all around pathetic effort and has nothing to offer that isn't contrived and/or stolen from some much better movie. I'm guessing the only positive reviews will be from 10 yr old girls with crushes. This is by far the most disappointing of the disney orig. movies that I have seen so far. Shame on you disney, the trash bin is the one located next to the recycle bin, use it next time you have a project that just didn't work in the end.
