I don't get the hate for this movie. Sure it is not like the others but still a fun watch. The other movies had a little more depth to them and the character a tad flushed out but this movie does not deserve all the one star ratings. It's not horrible and it's not great just a fun light hearted watch and I would watch it again like I did the others. Unlike the horror remake that they made which I did not bother to watch because that was ridiculous make compared to the rest of the franchise they should have kept with make elements of the series like this did. Overall I'd say ignore the negative reviews and give this a solid chance and don't take this film too seriously.

This show deserves so much more. Honestly it should be up there with stranger things. The story telling is immaculate. Very original plot and twist. I started to watch one episode during COVID and and it turned into one of the best binges ever!! I am so glad that Netflix decided to bring this back for a season 2 and a potential for season 3. I hope more people get into watching this show because a enough food things cannot be said about this show. So if you are still reading this review you need to stop right and turn Netflix or whatever streaming service you use and get onto watching this show. You will not regret it!!!

Honestly I love love love the original movie and I figured nothing would top it but given that this is an original story line of its own and the music is actually really good. Let me tell you this is an enjoyable watch so far! The music is very catchy and the characters are likeable. I don't know why people are hating on this. This is a very sweet little prequel to the original story and I get that people are bothered by the feminism in the show but it is not in your face like most shows and movies nowadays. This is a great take on a classic and it is done in such a very respectful way that I have no complaints. Give this show a chance you won't regret it!

I loved this retelling of Romeo and Juliet. For real though at school it was a torcher reading R & J but this version of the story just makes it so much more interesting. I always felt frustration on how R &J ended but honestly the ending is what made this movie for me, it is what I imagined how the character Romeo and Juliet would be if they had more time to know each other. This was just such a fun watch and lots of funny and sweet moments! Even though there was some changes to the original story and inconsistencies I honestly would recommend this movie to friends and family. Love love love!!!

Honestly I have seen clips of this show and summaries and all I saw was nothing but a washed up model putting down and tearing down women who are just trying to get somewhere. Nothing about this show screams positivity and showcase body positive image even with the new full figured models. They should fire Tyra she sucks! I use to think she was alright but after seeing her in this show I can't help thinking of her as the lowest of the low. She is a nasty piece of work.

I never read the book but if I did I would not rate it so low. Sometimes a good deviation from the book is a good thing. One thing I really appreciated from this movie was the main character ends up choosing herself in the end and often times you don't see that in a movie. She ended up with neither. Although there is a tad of hint that one of the characters could potentially be a long term friendship or love interest in the future but that is where the movies leaves the viewer for interpretation. The movie is not as bad as people are making out to be and the thing with main character was she needed to grow up and find herself not love. It was a decent movie for what it was. It was an easy to follow and just sit and relax without being so complex.

I don't know the bad reviews but this show is made for everyone. This is like those easy reading books you read between waiting to read or digest something more complex. Loved the fun and imagitveness of the show and overall the feel of the show is very well paced and the story is very easy to get into.

Honestly this show is really cute! I say give it a chance completely before writing it off. I think for the first season they need to add hints of the original series but I feel the second season would be even better. This show played out really well and people are so quick to write it off because of the original series and they are being judgmental of this series. Look at this show with fresh eyes and an open mind.

It's an easy watch but Misha needs to tone down a lot she is my least favorite. She is a bit too negative for my taste compare to the others. It almost feels like a fight with her every single episode to just do the right thing and when you think she has learned she manages to prove you wrong. Show premise is really enjoyable and it is meant for kids and not adults so I don't know why so many are taking it that serious. It is a good in-between show.

Pretty good stranger things replacement

If you are waiting for a stranger things season 4 to come out this is a really good in-between. I can see it getting better with time and this is made for tweens in mind so yes the writing is not par to ST but it is light enough and suspenseful enough to hold your attention as you wait. I can't wait for the next season.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching this show. It is actually really good considering what is out there for tv shows. The writing does need some improvements but it is a really great show and I recommend others to give it a chance. The story line is very sweet.
