Not at all horrible for a follow up to the original. Does just enough to make you want to watch the next couple of installments.

While I was certainly entertained by the martial arts scenes, and campy special effects, the plot was not spectacular, nor was there anything groundbreaking. Save this for when you want to zone out and laugh at some early seventies camp.

Jack shows good skills with a meh story line

I had read some rave reviews about this movie here and other places. After watching the film I feel like I'm missing the hype. Jack pulls off the maniacal, selfish, womanizing bully in the story, but the story feels just like that; a character sketch. I did enjoy the scenes showing simple little things from the early 1970s that I had forgotten, but there just seems to be a certain lack of closure making the film great.

A no CGI Sci-Fi film. Sounds boring? Not this one. I had honestly never heard of this before I borrowed it through Hoopla. Whoever wrote the story had a sense for future technology reminiscent of Gene Roddenberry, like Video calling and Voice recognition. The only knock is that the story drags on at times. Ant Sci-Fi fan should see this forgotten gem.
