Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
Classic
The Empire Strikes Back is one of the all time classic movies that everyone should see.
Obviously you must watch the Star Wars Trilogy (and I am of course referring to the original Star Wars Trilogy since we are talking about Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back right here) in order to fully appreciate how great the movies are and to understand that story that is going in on this movie, which is the second installment of the franchise. (It was called Episode V to indicate that there would be a prequel trilogy, with the original Star Wars later re-released as "Episode IV" of the series.)
I was not a big fan of the prequel trilogy but the original movies all stack up nicely even to this day. Though dated the effects are still nice and the original releases have awesome models and puppetry that frankly are better than the CGI employed in the various re-issues. Check it out!
The Social Network (2010)
Good Movie
The Social Network is a good movie and definitely it is good enough to bother going and seeing at the theatre with your friends or even alone, it is that good you will have a good time just sitting and watching it. The only thing keeping it from being "great" is that some of the acting is not quite up to par. The lead is great and shows Zuckerburg is a real turd of a human being sometimes but also shows that he is a human being with frailties who deserves sympathy as well. The movie is good I know because the end of it came and I sat wondering "was that really just two hours?" because it did not feel long at all. The only real weak actor was no surprise Justin Timberlake, don't mind his music at all but his acting is just not that great, maybe he looks a lot like the guy or something but between this and Love Guru I won't be anxious to see him act again that's for sure.
Friday Night with Ralph Benmergui (1992)
Maybe as Bad as Mike Bullard
Friday Night with Ralph Benmergui was a terrible, terrible show. Ralph Benmergui was not a very good host and the interview parts were just painful to watch. The show was so boring and the writing was pitifully bad. None of the jokes were funny. Even the guests were terrible and they even looked like they didn't want to be there, no doubt they had seen the show and knew just how awful it was. It is hard to decide if Open Mike with Mike Bullard was really worse than this show or if it just seems worse because it was more recent so I remember it better, but it says a lot just to say that Friday Night with Ralph B. is even in the same league as that notoriously horrible show, Mike Bullard.
