Like many other movies that are accused of propaganda (Tashkent files, Kashmir files and the recent kerala story) this is also a propaganda movie, but from the opposite side(same side of the makers of Jogi)

Screenplay and direction is amateur. Acting by the cast is excellent except for nawaz. Not his fault tho, probably bounded by his character, director and/or script.

Sudhir mishra and Co are trying hard to get browny points from a certain segment of the audience, joining the bandwagon that's already occupied by the Akhtar siblings and excel entertainment (for your perspective- mind you they still make the best movies of indian cinema-DCH and ZNMD are my No 1 and No 2 most fav movies of all time). But it's also obvious they wanna be in the good books of the woke gen..

Understand that a check and balance is needed to counter certain propaganda movies, but this is stooping to a lower level.

Impatiently waiting for a movie that'll be smart enough to depict two sides of the coin instead of making a completely biased story where one group is completely good/innocent and the other group completely bad (barring the lone good soul that was portrayed by bhumi). Hopefully a team of good filmmakers go in that unbiased/neutral direction. Sick of one sided movies..

Jeff wise is maybe, the most annoying journalist to watch (take a moment to let that sink in as there are volumes of annoying journalist out there). I think this is very insulting to all family and friends of victims. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WATCHING.

Just listening to this man's many theories that he cooks in his head (mostly) is so painful. Coming from someone in the aviation industry, I only appreciated the common sense statements given by the actual aviation experts. And the immarsat guy. And they were hardly given any time in this so called docuseries.

Most people know about MH370, and that the investigation is inconclusive. So for those who probably have no clue about MH370, maybe enlighten yourself with this. Again, feel so bad for the families of the victims.. I hope they don't watch this..

Bad bad acting by most of the main cast. Especially spencer and Cheri. Illonka's character and acting itself are highly annoying. Kevin, amesh and Sandra were the only ones that characters looked believable. Stanton did ok.

Story was ok. Could have had potential to be much much better. In an interesting premise they still managed to disappoint. Had an interesting start, but the more you watch it, the more annoying it gets.

Goes downhill slowly but surely. Especially illonka's character. Not sure if it's the script that made her look bad, the direction or just her ability to portray that character.

Not worth the watch. Save your time watching something else. First time Mike Flanagan disappointed me though..

JA, AK, and Tara Sutaria(barring the end scene) did exceptionally well. Disha is expressionless. Gave me vibes of Japanese/Korean gangster cinema. Especially Arjun. Story was excellent barring some minor flaws which all will notice. However worth the watch. Ending felt heavy. Arjun was great, John was actually amazing. His best work.. I don't know what came over Tara in that last scene at the stadium. Overacted. She was otherwise impressive. As she was in SOTY2 and Tadap. Just wish that last scene of hers was done better.. disha, stop acting.. no offence.. a pretty face that's good for modelling. Not an ounce of ability to act..

Good story idea.. given to the wrong director. Lost of words.. save your time.. watched it on prime. Forced myself to the finish.. my dad enjoyed it tho.. he did say tho, nice to watch nonsense like this once in a while.. that was a 70 plus year olds comments.

Some scenes could had been done without it being too bold. Anyhoo, they seemed to enjoy doing it.. what I thought was an emotional movie turned out to be a crime thriller/drama in the last 20-30 mins.. didn't see that coming.. Second best part about the movie is that it teaches us to move on. Best part was Alisha's relationship with her father.. those that follow Bollywood will assume Deepika was being herself most of the time. Based on tabloids, it seems as if she was playing a character pretty close to whom she is.. Ananya definitely was.. 🙃 Siddhanth is a fine actor.. missed him in the 3rd season of inside edge.. naseerudin doesn't surprise you with his fine performances anymore, it's what you expect from one of the best..

All in all, an ok one time watch..

Mighty respect to Ajay for taking this role. Salman almost nailed it tho.. almost..

Some say it's inspired by Wolfgang Mozart and Antonio Salieri's rivalry. I don't know their story but it was an interesting thought when I watched it back in 2009.. now after watching it again in 2021, this movie would had been much better with another director(not going to mention any names). The vision, and execution is wrong. Screenplay has too many mistakes.. the chemistry between the leads is amazing.. sad to see them wasted..

What could had been a real masterpiece, at the correct hands..

Ahan will probably improve a lot as he does more work. Tara excelled in her role. Every other actor was good. Story was excellent. Could have been much better. I still left the cinema with a heavy feeling. I guess most of us, either can relate or have friends that have been thru something similar. Will not divulge much, but I will say go and watch it. 👍🏽

Well done movie, sans unnecessary drama. Slow paced, but necessary to depict those factors making it slow to show Shaheed Udham Singh's patience and highly dedicated effort. Vicky Kaushal, josh is very high sir.

It is very very daunting to portray certain characters. Taking that into consideration, you need to give a lot of attention to detail portraying/depicting these characters. Knowing this, I was still very disappointed and hurt about one important factor in the movie, the extremely awkward and inaccurate casting of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. Goof- He was hung cropped. And I can't believe they agreed to cast this actor. Huge huge mistake. Took away what could had been really impactful scenes when Shaheed Bhagat was in the frame.. for me personally, this was a huge letdown. Especially when you're portraying the two bravest Sikhs to ever live. Ever..

However. Taking that one flaw out, this movie is what Bollywood needs now. Well done to everyone on this project and hats off to Shoojit and Vicky 🙌🏽☝🏾..

Lame. Lame.. sad.. director and writer need to really find a way to redeem themselves. Too try hard. Can't believe the two talented main leads were wasted like this. Not going to be good for their resume..

As sad as this was, I hope the writer and director step up if given another chance..

Story was great. Hardly any flaws. Performances were great. Kriti's best till date. Pankaj is as usual five star. Manoj and supriya excellent..!! Nothing tops the message at the end. Hope we all can learn from this..!! Good effort. Good idea to remake, giving it a bigger audience being a Hindi movie.

A genius effort. The timing of when this movie released was perfect. A good answer to many gender biased movies (pink, mom etc). Not saying those movies aren't good. Just that it's screaming at how bad men are. Also, not saying men aren't at fault at all, neither am I saying women are actually wrong. This movie explains that debate very well in the most neutral process. Very comforting to see a movie that is fair and provides a good check and balance to the new narrative conquering Bollywood that everyone loves being a part of. You know I know. Both genders are imperfect and can learn from each other. Well done to the whole team of this movie. I've seen many good movies. But none have impress me like this one.

Sridevi, akshaye and Nawaz 10/10.. story is ok.. the girl playing Arya can't act. Otherwise, a good one time watch. Among the mains, it's hard to say who was the best, sridevi was of course given the meatiest role, she doesn't waste a second of it. Akshaye and Nawaz are just five star actors..!! Really should have casted a better actress for Arya, of course Sri Devi's daughters can only play main female leads so I'm guessing that's why they didn't do it.

If you're stupid, that last line was sarcastic..

Also, akshaye despite being a son of a legend.. is one of the country's most powerful performers. He excels in such roles that demand a lot of intensity. Who said star kids can't act? He's better than most of the filmfare/national award winners..

Sridevi was too good. Worthy of the national award. Funny she didn't win the filmfare tho.. then again, most people know the integrity of the awards anyways.. among the many movies of hers I remember watching, I think this was the best performance she ever gave.

Like the many comments are saying, waste of a talented cast. Even the unknown actors did well. But what a misery the writers have put the viewers thru.. all the 8 episodes for no proper conclusion..?? Disappointed. Usually happens when you're too smart for your own good.. don't bother watching. Bloody slow and painful.. and to bear thru all that for no conclusion.. aarrgghh..!!

Besides darshan Kumar, every other actor deserves praise for their performances. Farhan clearly went out to prepare for the role. Mrunal thakur looks like a seasoned actress. Paresh Rawal is one of the best in Bollywood.

Story is predictable, very predictable. I was expecting a sultan sort of twist, but it was not. That twist got me pretty shocked tho. Perhaps I don't predict that well. Despite watching something. Familiar, it's the little things in the movie that make it a worth while watch. Elements of race and religion handled well. Of course, despite it getting old, I guess as a global society we need a reminder.

Long story short, it doesn't reserve a bad rating. It's a nice attempt.. go watch it.. twice.

Wow. In short, everyone should watch this. Living in or out of India. I am however extremely upset, that the second season is only on Sony liv. Don't you guys have your own platform ?? Why isn't it there?

Extremely cringing climax. Irritating on an extremely high level. Could had been executed in a much smarter way. Much much smarter way. But I guess kashyap tried to be too smart, so he went all out to annoy the **** outta the audience. An example I can compare it is with inside man (for those that have seen it), it was brilliant in explaining the climax. Slightly lengthy but you enjoy how it unravels. This movie, I guess kashyap was trying too hard to come off with something that he may have thought would appear to be the work of an intelligent director. Fail.

Although I am disappointed, I have to say that I loved his work in GOW and Bombay Velvet(heavily panned but I loved it anyway).

All actors did an excellent job tho. Especially saiyami. 'Tai', gets the award for the most annoying character you'll ever see in a Bollywood movie. Taking it away from Ananya Khare in Bhansali's devdas (Kumud Mukherjee). And for her extremely realistic performance, I actually couldn't stand her one bit. You watch it you'd know what I mean..

It seems like people have taken this nepotism issue in a very unhealthy way.. I know most star kids couldn't act if their life depended on it. But I think harsh has done a decent job here.. I honestly believe he's like akshay, he'll grow with every movie. He's already pretty convincing.. kudos to Chandan and radika.. five star actors.. story was nice.. everything about it was really nice.. shocked to see the amount of hate in the reviews.. it may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I honestly don't think it's as bad as people claimed it to be.. wanted to give it an 8, but the average was too low so yea..

Credits to Ali fazal and half the other actors. The actress portraying his wife wasn't convincing. There are some lapses which you will notice. And more when you watch it the second time. I watched it twice because my gf hadn't watched it yet. Would had been great had the writers tried not to emphasise so much on Ipsit losing his memory. Some incidences don't quite make sense. You'll get it once you've watched the whole episode. Still good tho. Left a heavy feeling after watching.

Keeping this short.. laugh laugh and laugh .. tried really hard looking for a flaw, nothing IMHO.. great performance, story and execution.. DO NOT MISS..!!

A sweet movie with minor flaws.. still worth a watch or more for a Bollywood fan..

anil-juhi story wasn't quite the best among them, but in a way it suited this whole package. Two fine veterans performing like how we'd expect seasoned actors to, despite some flaw in this story's screenplay (club sequence)

govinda-shanon story looked like a 90's govinda movie that was shortened to cater for the movie. Very pleasant performance by our comedy king govinda. Shanon's performance seems to grow as their story unfolds. Probably the most unrealistic but sweetest story of the lot.. no one can deny govinda still has every bit of charm left in him.. one of the best talents to come out of India, Govinda..!!

Salman-priyanka story is confusing and it appears the writers and nikhil forgot about their biggest star in the movie. Or maybe like the rumour going around Bollywood, Salman probably had too much of his input in the creativity.. like what most reviewers have said, Priyanka overacts for the most of it but showed displays of the star she eventually became in the emotional scenes. As said earlier, this story was very lazily made.. very very lazily made..

Akshay-ayeesha's story is probably the only one given almost every Bollywood element there is.. Akshay despite appearing to some as an overactor here, looks like he's completely in character and pulled it off well.. I wouldn't want to comment on Ayesha tho..

sohail-isha deserved slightly more screen time. The funniest of course, even reminding you of govinda and akshay's comic timing. Isha looks lost tho..

John-vidya track is the best in the movie. It is a tear jerker and probably nikhils fav track in the movie. It looks as if he put his best foot forward for this track. Excellent execution, well performed by all, only flaw is John could had done slightly better. Vidya was great.

All six stories fit well together and how they're connected doesn't look too forced.. being a Salman Khan fan, I just wished they put a little more effort to explain a little more about their story.. narrated and edited in an almost perfect sequence.. watching it again today and realised it is one of Bollywood's sweetest work..

From start to finish you get laugh after laugh. My fav dialogue is "kuta salaa.. marjayega accident me". No one is as convincing as The Great Govinda in comedic dialogue delivery.
