Should be available to every kid everywhere

I just caught this film late night and was expecting a moralising tale aimed at parents, but this is an outstanding film. Anyone who's ever been bullied will be moved by this film, the way it captures the humiliation and the anger that wells up inside when you take s**t from other people everyday at school.

It's also a frank and intelligent look at why the school shootings are happening in America, what drives people to do these awful things, and thankfully lays off from providing any easy answers. Ben Foster gives a fantastically natural performance in the lead role, with great support from the young cast. I'd heartily recommend it to anyone, you won't be disappointed.

How High (2001)
Awesome

This is a quality film which is highly recommended if you and your mates are having a few beers and maybe even a few jazz cigarettes of an evening.

Stick on the film, do the only other decent thing and roll, and be prepared to giggle like a four-year old. The music is also great to listen to when you're mashed - nice beats. The main thing is that its a cool film and you're guarenteed you will laugh your arse off. Also, any film which opens with Cypress Hill gets my vote Hip hop tunes and top quotes

"No-one drops the n-bomb round here"

"I got 2 inches of hard d**k!"

what more do you need?

Murphy's Law (2001 TV Movie)
7/10
Good stuff

This was an impressive effort from James Nesbitt (better known as Adam from ITV's Cold Feet), ably supported by RADA graduate Claudia Harrison.

Yeah sure, the story had definitely been seen before - policeman impresses crime boss, infiltrates gang - and all the undercover cop cliches were present and correct (maverick, plays by his own rules, possibly family tragedy), but still, this was well-acted, tightly scripted, satisfying TV. We hope to see more from James Nesbitt in the future. 8/10
