It's funny, but it feels too quick
10 July 2020
This show is very funny, although it has a major pacing issue. Splitting up a 20 minute episode into two episodes poses a problem, and it doesn't really work. Regular Show (Quintel's other show) did this, but it felt a little more natural to the characters. I think this show would be much better off utilizing one story into a 20 minute segment.

Wow, this episode was great!

Usually American Dad has a strong A plot, but it is sometimes distracted by a pointless B plot. This episode maintains its focus throughout, and really doesn't have a B plot. We get an obvious story arc from Jeff, and it's a really interesting perspective from him because it is something we've haven't ever really seen. There are also some great Roger moments, and a good amount of Klaus where he appears throughout, not taking away from the main story at all.

Best Episode, and I mean that
1 June 2020
Holy. This episode has everything a R&M fan would want. So much action, great character moments, and some of the funniest jokes. It's structured in a very unique way, but it still feels like a classic Rick and Morty adventure. We're left off on a huge dynamic change, and I think it's gonna be interesting where they take it.

Best Episode So Far
19 May 2020
This season has been a rollercoaster, but I can simply say this is the best episode so far. The jokes land fairly well, and even if the things they make fun of are outdated, it's meant in a way to poke at past trends. Stan and Steve's relationship in this episode could've used much more screen time. Personally I would've scrapped the pointless B-plot with the rest of the family. The ending with Stan and Steve was heartwarming, and I think they should look into doing more episodes like this.

Superb Episode
18 May 2020
It took me awhile to understand where this episode was going, but when I caught on, it was one of the funniest and entertaining episodes from the series. Although Rick wasn't in this episode as much as you'd expect, it felt refreshing to have Morty in the spotlight learning a valuable lesson, that is, don't insult Rick.

Warning: Spoilers
Yes, nostalgia is great and all, but in this situation, it just doesn't cut it. Time travel is a cheap way of story telling, and it makes Thanos' success in Infinity War feel pointless. All the different timelines makes things super confusing and controversial. I wanted to see new things in the Marvel universe, not the past. When we do get to the final fight scene, it's fantastic. The three fighting against Thanos is intense and epic (wish we got more screen time of that).

Feels like a Classic Episode
11 May 2020
This episode had something to it that sparked Season 2 & 3 in my head, and also brought in new things. It did a different storytelling approach, and had an interesting twist. A couple of scenes dragged on just a little bit, but it didn't ruin it entirely. Promortyus was action packed and funny, an overall great episode.

A Perfect Episode
5 May 2020
Did I ever expect American Dad! to do a spoof off of The Twilight Zone? No. Am I glad that did it? Yes! This episode grabs your attention like no other, and gives a creepy uneasy vibe (which is a good thing). There weren't many jokes, but it didn't need any. Great episode, it lets us know that the team behind American Dad! can still provide quality stories.

This Episode Proves They Know What They're Doing
5 May 2020
Five months wait for episode 6 of season 4 was worth it, because I was laughing one second and then startled, jaw dropped the other second. This episode takes on a couple of things at once, but it works. It's a crazy episode (probably the most crazy in the entire series so far) and it gets the job done speaking directly to the fans. There's plenty of action and jokes for the audience to appreciate. Animation team did an amazing job as well. Great episode, 10/10

Great, until the end
5 May 2020
It was a splendid idea to go back to Stan's roots before the C.I.A, and explore what kind of person he was. It featured great moments throughout, but had one problem. This episode had a strong run through Stan's past, but it fell apart at the end. I couldn't exactly pick out the lesson and Stan's character development, and the ending was overall rushed. Other than that, this episode deserves some praise as a solid return to the series.

Funny Moments, Meh Episode
5 May 2020
Roger and Jeff as the stars of the episode was refreshing, but it was executed poorly. There were some great moments from Roger which will be remembered, but that didn't help the overall structure. Klaus and Steve held together a decent B Plot, but not much else to say about it.

Solid Episode

I was skeptical when they were bringing in guest star The Weeknd, but his presence (although felt too forced) worked well around the Smith family. Roger's A Plot worked fine, there were a few hiccups here and there, but it didn't derail itself completely.
