Ghost Hunters (2004– )

Just cancel it already this show is terrible
6 May 2022
This is even more awful then the rendition called Ghost Nation, in this one we actually have them thinking they are solving mysteries and the 3 seconds of audio they supposedly get is valuable information that is life changing to the world. They research the area they are investigating and the history beforehand then look to connect with those supposed names they uncover (think John Edwards fake psychic). This is just bad TV for very simply gullible people with a cast that is downright awful from the lead who has an ego and a sense of entitlement due to creating the original show but now fails to keep up with the competition to the new girl who was cast as eye candy for the ghost fans but is well past her prime with zero personality or intellect to add only redundant lines spoken in monotone (her and the lead are together in case anyone hasn't figured it out yet which explains why she was "chosen" for the show), next with have the clown with 3" shorts and terrible tattoos that jumps at the site of anything from spiders to snakes and finally we have Dave, the only one on the show that seems to have a genuine light heartedness and likable personality, he should have his own show or add him to the cast of Ghost Adventures which is at least tolerable and do away with this garbage.

Ghost Hunters: Lost Bones of the Argo (2022)

Absolutely awful meaningless TV

This show continues to last all these years and it puzzles me who the actual audience is and how many viewers subject themselves to it weekly. This is horrendous TV and I really hope these "investigators" don't get paid for this as there is no intellect whatsoever and never anything to truly see. Tango is probably the only tolerable one on the entire show whereas the other either exaggerate, show excessive egos or have zero personality, this episode furthered the cringe. Please kindly remove this show from television and let it stay buried like the supposed ghosts they communicate with.

Ghost Hunters: The Lost Souls of Joliet (2022)

Complete waste of time

This is one of the most pathetic shows I have ever seen, how these people manage to stay on the air and generate a paycheck completely baffles me. In the beginning "Ghost Hunters" consisted of 2 "investigators" and it was something new and fun, fast forward almost 20 years later and you have literally hundreds of these shows and this one especially where the investigators are pompous and think they are actual scientists in their investigations. They are now bringing in guests to try to gain attention to their boredom and hopefully rejuvenate their app only presence since the demotion from cable and the quality of the team and the effort has just nosedived. I am not sure what the qualifications are to be a "ghost hunter" but I am hoping it is more than for example a girl on the show saying in monotone every episode "is there someone here that would like to speak to us" or Jason the lead always drawing the same conclusion, please take this show off the air.

Ghost Nation (2019– )

Wishing there was a -10 rating to give

This show is an absolute atrocity. These guys are apparently the "best" in the business and the show is about as much fun as watching paint dry. Every time they hear the slightest thing they are surprised and amazed but of course the watcher can't hear it because you are flooded with voiceovers and added sound effects and reenactments because the reality of what they are "discovering" is downright boring.

If what we see on TV are the high points of the investigation I would hate to see what the low points are, jamming ice picks into your toes is less excruciating than getting through an episode of this show, I feel bad for the cast having to sit around for countless hours to collect 7 seconds of "evidence" such a waste of money and life.

The dialogue is really sad as well, asking a ghost if they can "do something for us" and to "touch a light up ball" made for a 3 year old, apparently after we die we all have the mentality of infants and aren't capable of solid interactions and have to resort to playing with baby toys once again to validate our existence to the living if you want to call there job living.

The new female investigator they brought on board is completely useless and the token female to balance the team out apparently, any time she is on screen it is the same monotone and the same questions as she wears a permanent frown on her face but somehow gets credit to being a "great" investigator (apparently the bar is pretty low in that world I guess), the highlights of her on the show involve avoiding a bat flying down and making a comment about a spider with zero contribution or any original thought to the actual "Ghost Hunt" just along for the ride and brought it to fill out a roster.

How are they surprised at anything after doing this for over 20 years as well ? After a certain point as with any career haven't you seen almost everything, no need for the theatrics, we get enough of that when you play the background music then cut to a commercial after you hear a sound that we can't hear then rewind 30 seconds after to hear it all over again, I'm not sure if the investigators or the film crew should be fired first as they as pretty much all terrible. How do shows like this even get on TV and why would any networks pay people to do this borefest week after week ?
