Sex/Life (2021)
Erotic drama by Netflix with blurred out lady body parts.
Yeah. You heard it right. It's been a long time since I watched something so shallow, with such a terrible plot. The whole show is basically sex, and it wouldn't be surprising, it's erotic after all. But the blurring of the female lower body parts made me laugh painfully. It's strange, especially since the male ones have not been censored. 50 Shades of Gray is a masterpiece compared to this movie.
The Nevers (2021)
Whedon did it again.
With all the accusations that can be attributed to Whedon, one thing is for sure, he is a very good director. The Nevers promises to be another HBO hit. I just hope that the very good level will not drop in the next episodes not directed by Whedon anymore. For now, I recommend this series.
Ammonite (2020)
Not what I expected
Saw this movie at a film festival. I am terribly disappointed with what I saw. I was hoping to see something similar to the movie Blue is The Warmest Color. Ammonite is by no means an equally good lesbian movie. Something that stands out most about this movie is the lack of chemistry between the main characters. I don't feel this infatuation, this love, this lust. The plot is also not very engaging, it is stretched out. The film is very prudish in expression. I'm surprised because the previous film by this director was really bold. There are no bold sex scenes in Ammonite. The only bold nudity in the movie doesn't even come from women. This prudishness shouldn't happen in an LGBT movie. I rate the movie 4/10. The costumes were beautiful.
We Are Who We Are (2020)
Fail.
Very boring with shallow characters. This is not a show that live up to the level of the previous film from this director. Vulgar objectification of male bodies should be condemned. A big plus for Chloe Sevigny.
P-Valley (2020)
I am amazed
This series offends my intelligence. I can't believe that serious television can create something so completely bland and horribly vulgar at the same time.
Hightown (2020)
Amazing series
Do not listen the hate. I had a great time while watching it. Great story and strong female characters.
