The OA (2016)
Movement theory in other cultures also means spiritual connection
I have a theory about the dance they do ... in various ancient cultures, they performed rituals with specific dances and drum sounds because they believed that certain vibrations in the body became mantras that activated chakras in the body, and this allowed them to connect with the spiritual. Every time you died, you came back with a movement, remember? my theory is that each one that died reached the spiritual and each movement was part of that "ritual" that allowed them to open a black hole to travel between multiverses. In fact, throughout the dance they place their hands at different points where the chakras are believed to be located.
The Revenant (2015)
The brutal simplicity of the film
Both the argument and the evolution of it could not be easier: A man overcomes an almost certain death to take revenge on another. Also, don't expect great subtleties in Reve The Revenant ', as you go for visceral simplicity rather than really delving into the emotions behind it.
Is there something wrong with that decision? Not at all, especially if we take into account that both Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy know how to adapt perfectly, the first showing perfectly his brutal determination and the second stressing the vermin that he is. Both share a powerful spirit of survival, albeit for different reasons.
Malefica (2018)
The best of the best
They exceeded my expectations to die, with the cast, the production, the script, how good that I could see it before dying, it is not only a box office success, but they show us a more human side of fairy tales where the evil one It also has a history of why it is so.
Definitely cool.
