Shark Attack 2 (2000)
Wonderfully bad
I have seen some of the worst films in existence - The Deadly Spawn, Psychomania, Night Of The Scarecrow, Basket Case The Progeny, but none of them come close to this spectacularly dire piece of art. Every possible cliché is crowbarred into this film - Nature loving rugged male scientist with a painful secret from his past meets grieving blonde with outrageously large breasts, they hate each other at first but end up wearing each other's clothes. There's a wacky geneticist/marine biologist with a limp, small round glasses and cane, a bad guy with dreadfully dyed black hair and goons to match and an amazing Cockney/Aussie television personality whose accent was hilarious. Then there are the growling sharks! Genius! My absolute favourite part of the film is when they manage to cram a fortnight's holiday in Portugal into an afternoon when they have "a little spare time".
This film is now a perennial favourite amongst my friends and I, and I suggest you buy it as soon as possible and spread the glee and merriment. However, if you're looking for a GOOD film, steer clear.
