Morning Joe (2007– )

Poor Excuse for a News Program
30 January 2008
I suppose that one could tune to FOX news and get a more jaded view of the news and current events, but having said that, Joe Scarborough presents the news filtered through a right-wing agenda rivaled only by Atilla the Hun.

When compared to CNN's morning show, or the TODAY show, this entrée has nothing to offer. There are no entertainment issues discussed in depth, there are no guests of any import, other than political candidates pushing their agenda, and if they are from the right, they will be assisted by Scarborough. Joe is assisted to some extend by Mika and Willie, but frankly the show is a bore.

Not Good...Not Good At all
18 January 2008
OK, we have here Cliff "PT-109" Robertson, and the magnificent Paul Winfield, filming locations include the city of Berlin, so how can we go wrong? Easy. Just put Ms. Sammi Davis in the lead role. This poor woman could not act her way out of a subway turnstile. She has no range, no sense of timing, no facial expressions and cannot even move from point A to point B on screen convincingly.

It's obvious that Ms Davis took the screen name in an effort to cash in on the Late Sammy's fame. She should have taken some acting classes too.

Whatever is left of this movie is eclipsed by the pitiful non-effort exuded by Sammi. You will not find this one hard to pass up.

Thoughtfull Western-Drama
23 November 2007
There is a lot going on in this little low budget western drama, and there is absolutely NO WASTE OF TALENT! Lyon plays the sheriff, who's father and grandfather were both gunned down while wearing a badge. It seems that he has just taken over from Buchanan, who has let a lot slide during the 15 years he was wearing the badge.

I think that many viewers, especially immature ones, will have a tough time with this tale...it deals with the fear of cowardice. All men and women experience it at some time, however it is not considered macho to talk about it, hence we have more movies with Cooper and Wayne portraying the fearless, card board cut-out protagonist, rather than real life characters.

The scene where Windsor and Buchanan berate and grind Lyon into action is unforgettable.

The movie could have benefited from a more rugged realistic conclusion, however after all these years, this one remains a minor classic.

Files is a Clown
20 November 2007
First of all, Files would have to have been 16 or 17 years old to have been in Laos when he claims to have been there...that's the first big reach here.

The fact that the guy cannot even pronounce properly the names of the people of the country of Laos, would give ANYONE with a brain the idea that the guy is full of bologna, or worse.

A con is a con and always a con. Files is getting attention while he serves his time in stir and spins his little lies.

Anyone that has done any serious research on the murder of Kennedy will soon realize that Inmate Files is just spinning tales, for fun and profit.
