The dialogue is practically unbearable, the characters are boring, long drawn out unnecessary scenes. The product of prioritizing social media fame over talent, which is typical of these types of movies. Dry tasteless banter between characters that's just as unfunny as the rest of the movie is unscary. Boring z-list Instagram celebrity cast disappoints at no surprise. These movies are everything that bores me with modern "horror" the quirk, the internet, the meme humor could just never ever do it for me and I really can't imagine an actual personality that wouldn't struggle to enjoy something as bland and tasteless and NOT SCARY OR FUNNY as this.. even the story was completely lost on me. The "help me dig!" scene was the most exhausting thing I've ever sat through, I would've turned it right here BUT I really wanted to experience the suck on full blast so that my review can accurately describe the type of movie this is. Very slow moving story, hardly worth watching, don't bother.

Character introduction, after character introduction, after character introduction, then some bizarre quirky behavior, and bleh modern humor. I know, it's a monster movie, what am I expecting, but cmon do we seriously have no standards anymore? Imagine what this must have looked like on set. The special effects were the only saving grace, which like, yeah the stuff they made on the computer was pretty cool, I guess.

Is this girl an ex military mma fighter with the pain tolerance of a monk? Give me a break, I get it, it's a movie, but come on. This movie goes so far beyond the line of reality and ridiculous it's not even funny. Ripping her acrylic nails off her fingers? Yeah, not shot. Beating up two grown men twice her size? Not buying it. When you're trying to make a movie about a woman being strong and smart, make it realistic, because women are strong and smart, but when you make a movie with that message unrealistic to the point it's almost silly it's making a joke out of what a resilient woman can be capable of. 5 stars out of 10 for the acting and the decent camera work but this really didn't do it for me.

Where do I begin, in the beginning I was kind of like "oh okay, it's satirical, it's supposed to be funny" no complaints there's nothing wrong with horror and suspense intertwining with comedy, but the problem is that it's just flat out painfully not funny. The quirky hipster humor just does not do it for me, maybe if I was renting an apartment in a gentrified neighborhood in the city I would think it was hilarious or maybe if I had a degree in liberal arts I'd be in stitches, unfortunately I do not and this movie did absolutely nothing for me.
6.99 on Amazon Prime that I would've rather just flushed down the toilet, total failure this movies was, sheesh.
