I have owned the import home version of this movie for years, and I still paid the $9 to see it in the movie theater when it later came out in I believe 1999,2000(?) under the title "Legend of the Drunken Master" (the English version)
This movie is the epitomy of what a Jackie Chan movie is all about. Fantastic fight sequences, somewhat funny, decent story line, and much better film quality. A huge step up from the first Drunken Master film from 1978.
***Potential Spoiler***
The 3 main fights in this movie are the train fight, the Jackie-verses-250-guys-with-axes fight, and the eye-popping finale. The spits fire, bubbles, and falls into a burning coal pit for goodness sakes (applauds).
If I had to choose only one Chan movie to watch in my life this one would be it.
