damage done all right

Wouldn't it be great if Kathleen Bremner read the book "Prayers for Bobby: A Mother's Coming to Terms With the Suicide of Her Gay Son" -- Leroy Aarons. Thank you Brian, Brett and Susan for not lying about who you are anymore and thank you Arthur for bringing their stories to us.

"a woman did not make this"
4 July 2001
This film is on the top of my list of favorite films. I liked how the attractions/crushes were in real time (it can take months to get up the nerve to even talk to someone). Films usually show love developing in a maniacal pace that is so unrealistic. It was also refreshing to see a great story with characters that just happened to be gay. My favorite scene was when Sam asked Henry "did we teach you shame". It is so often that the world DOES teach us shame, how refreshing to have a character that is appalled by having done so. My LEAST favorite scene is when Mary declares, "a woman could not have made this tart" The audience roared in laughter. Does she mean that men are the only true chefs? Nothing funny about that.
