Outlander: The Happiest Place on Earth (2023)
Season 7, Episode 2
10/10
Emotional Roller Coaster
25 June 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Still processing the emotions brought to the surface in this episode. Anger, disgust, joy, happiness, sadness, despair and shock! This episode was orchestrated and delivered beautifully by the entire cast and production team.

Alex Vlahos portrayed his sadist-psycho character brilliantly in the opening scene. Sam Heughan & Caitriona Balfe were absolutely phenomenal in the heart breaking scene after their family traveled back to the future, knowing they may never see them again.

This was a neatly packaged wrap up to all that was left hanging at the end of Season 6. Now the Frasers & MacKenzies are heading into uncharted waters but without the lifeline of their extended family and support system.

Love Again (I) (2023)

A Feel Good, Cheeky Rom Com
7 May 2023
If you're looking for a feel good, cheeky romance movie "Love Again" fits the bill. The romance between Mira and Rob was charming and sweet. I just wished the script had spent more time on the development of their relationship instead of so much time on the protagonist brooding over her deceased boyfriend. Priyanka Chopra and Sam Heughan portrayed their characters with sensitivity and humor. Their time together on screen just seemed rushed and did not allow much time for any depth in their relationship. That said, there were light and funny moments between them. Sam has great comedic timing, and Priyanka was very charming. Celine Dion seemed to be there more as a backdrop but had some pretty funny lines, which she delivered well. The music was classic Celine. I enjoyed the film overall and would recommend it to someone looking for a feel good, love-conquers-all romantic comedy.

Good action flick
16 March 2021
Action packed from the start. The story has some interesting plot twists but the writing was stunted and some of the scenes seems disjointed. The acting was excellent by the main characters, Ruby Rose (Grace) and Sam Heughan (Tom). Just wish they had better dialogue to work with. Andy Serkis (Clements) was great as usual. If you like military-style action movies this is an enjoyable watch.
