Perfect Feet, an informative documentary with lots of Sole
13 May 2024
Perfect Feet: The Movie, directed by Calvin Dwight Harris, offers a refreshingly unique take on an often overlooked aspect of our bodies-our feet. As a 49-year-old man, I found this documentary surprisingly interesting and informative.

What I particularly appreciated was the film's positive tone and pace. It manages to be both educational and entertaining without bogging down in too much technical jargon.

Perfect Fee is an enlightening and enjoyable watch. It opened my eyes to a topic I had never given much thought to and did so in a way that was both thoughtful and engaging. For anyone looking to learn something new or gain a greater appreciation for a part of the body we all too often take for granted, this documentary is definitely worth your time.

Great Revenge Story
6 December 2023
Bang Bang Betty, Valerie's Revenge is like this wild indie ride you didn't see coming, man! Love to see a quality indie film like this one. The story is off the charts - twists and turns that keep you hooked, and Valerie's character is legit badass. But let me tell you, the cinematography is what blew my mind. The visuals are so on point; it's like they painted each scene with pure creativity. The colors, the angles, everything - it's like watching art unfold on the screen. A Gut-Wrenching Journey
16 November 2023
Move No More Mountain is a gut-wrenching journey into the heart of human struggle. I've seen my fair share of films, but this indie masterpiece is a raw and authentic exploration of grief, guilt, and the unexpected places we find redemption. Jenna Anderson's descent into the harsh streets of Vegas is a gripping narrative that transcends the screen. The visuals paint a stark yet beautiful portrait of homelessness, capturing the grit of Sin City with haunting precision. The soundtrack is a soulful companion, adding layers to Jenna's emotional unraveling. It's not an easy watch, but it's a necessary one. Move No More Mountain is a triumph in storytelling, making you reflect on the fragility of life and the power of resilience.

Great Horror Thriller!
16 November 2023
I just walked"The Stalker Part II," Let me tell you, they've taken the horror up a notch. The storyline picks up after the Hamiltons' nightmare, with Wendy trying to get back to normal life. Michelle Lewis and Jared Reeder did a decent job weaving this sense of lingering dread throughout the film.

The Stalker's return is relentless, and his twisted plan keeps you guessing. The pacing is tight, and the suspense builds steadily. The directors know their horror, no doubt. Some good jump scares as well. Sure, it has its predictable moments, but let's be real, it's a horror sequel. You expect a few déjà vu scares. Overall, "The Stalker Part II" gets the job done. If you're into psychological horror with a side of vengeance, give it a shot.

Hey, just caught Toxic Impulses last night. This indie flick is a real hidden gem. I gotta say, Schadt's vision shines through in every frame, proving you don't need a big Hollywood budget to make a compelling thriller. I'm a sucker for a good thriller, and this one had me on the edge of my seat the whole time.

Visually, the film surprised me. The visuals captured the essence of the story beautifully. The soundtrack was top notch as well, really bringing you into a vibe! I also surprisingly appreciated the use of voice over and I usually don't!

Sure, being an indie film, it has its rough edges, but that's part of the charmToxic Impulses is proof that you don't need a big studio backing to create something impactful. If you're into indie films that pack a punch, give Toxic Impulses a shot. It's a refreshing break from the mainstream.

Attack of the Doc is a Must See for all AOTS fans
25 August 2023
First off let me preface by saying Im the ideal audience for this. I was a big fan of G4 and watched Attack of the Doc every evening after work.

Chris Gore does a fantastic job helping us relive the past while also pulling back the curtain and giving us a lot of unique behind the screen stories that took place on set.

It's a fascinating look back and study of a show from a time thats been almost forgotten.

In the times of "woke" it's refreshing seeing how Attack of the Show really pushed social norms . Even though a lot of the humor wouldn't "land" today the youthful energy reminded me of early MTV.

A must buy for Generation X's and for Generation X as well.

Get the Blu-ray, it's packed with extras!!

Craving (2023)
10/10
Another Impressive Film by J. Horton
24 August 2023
I just finished Craving and all I can say is wow. First off if you love a good creature feature mixed with some locked in suspense horror then this is the film for you. The characters are fully fleshed out and the acting performance are top notch. However, I have to say the main star is the "monster" and the special effects. It's a love letter to some of my favorite pulp 80's horror movies but with modern take and a quality level that rivals Blumhouse.

I follow J. Horton on YouTube and I'm always impressed with what he is about to pull off in such a limited time frame. Really top notch job, if you enjoy horror and gore then this is a MUST SEE!
