Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022)
Namor was the star
I didn't think it was possible to make a black panther 2 after our beloved hero passed away. But this has exceeded my expectations.
For me It got 8 stars for the following:
The intro of the film made us fear the new water tribe.
Namor's presence and outstanding performance. Also the way he was flying was brilliant.
Shuri's character growth was sad but overwhelming. It's not easy for a girl to lose her care and security providers (mother and brother) therefore she will expierence grief and anger then the urge to become responsible will become a life or death matter. The actress did well.
Namor and Shuri's fight was brilliant this scene alone is worth 5 stars, I mean it's a marvel movie combat is supposed to be the main focus, right?
Namor was alot stronger but Shuri still won because of her brain, such weakening Namor by draning and burnning, it made sense because she is the creative genuis and she isn't supposed to win it as a power house like her brother.
2 minus was for:
Nakia saving Shuri didn't make sense, it was whole kingdom and Nakia just popped up in the exact jail chamber? She was supposed to face death sharks and fight ships before that.
I wasn't a fan of the young scientist, her scenes were the most boring ones, it's not the actress she is good but her character didn't add meaning I understand that she was supposed to be the trigger for Namor's tyranny but they could have found million other triggers or a more interesting character to add? Such as the woman who was attempting to runaway with the helicopter since she shot his men idk.

The Lion King (2019)
Is it the visuals or the voice acting
I thought the voice acting was fine and it's the visuals and animation that held it back. It's the opposite of what some of you think so let me explain my point.
There are many factors that contribute into a scene other than just having a beautiful landscape. The contrast, lighting and how much details you have in a background that distracts you from the focal point. For example during the running herd scene, I found it hard keeping up with our lions, they could have made their colors more saturated, lighter or even darker than their surroundings. Or they could have just made the surrounding dimmer or blurrier. Sometimes it's the little details like these that make a mejor impact, which is why sometimes we wonder why some scenes seem off despite the quality of the visuals.
Also the animals were barely talking, and were very emotionless! If they wanted realistic looking animals they could have done it atleast like The Jungle Book, just like when Bagheera shows concern in his face for the kid, adding facial expressions wouldn't hurt the realistic aspect and might have been a game changer for the movie.
