Fun for the Family
15 January 2021
I really liked this movie. Baymax is the coolest most hilarious and sweetest robot ever, really making the film. And I loved the relationship between Hiro and Tadashi. Laugh out loud funny, heart-wrenchingly sad, this is one of my favourite animations.

Not complete trash...
15 January 2021
Yeah, the movie was shallow, cringey, and cliche. The music was tacky, the acting wasn't always convincing, some of the characters are too stupid to be anything but annoying, and the storyline was cheesy and predictable. Somehow I managed to enjoy it though. I would recommend watching it with friends or family for a bit of a laugh (whether you find its humour funny, or just to laugh at how terrible it actually is). It helps to be really tired too... I do NOT recommended if you're searching for heartfelt romance.

So, yeah, this was OK, but there are other movies like this out there - such as Grease - that are far better. This is a last resort kind of movie :)

Friends will never grow old

I love, love, love this series. It can always be trusted to put a smile on my face. I'm currently watching it a second time - but certainly not the last. Incredibly clever, hilarious and down right brilliant, I wholeheartedly recommend this series. Friends will never grow old.

The Victim (2019)

Well done 👏
17 November 2020
This had me hooked from the start. There were a few moments where it dragged, but never for long. The last episode is fantastic; I was very satisfied with the ending.

I've been having a bit of a crime drama fest, and of the ones I've watched-

Deadwater Fell - 7/10 stars. The Guilty - 6/10 stars. Informer - 6/10 stars. The Nest - 7/10. Thirteen - 7.5/10 stars. Liar - 7/10 stars. Mrs. Wilson - 6.5/10 stars. (and The Victim of course - 8/10.)

-this one's my favourite.

*SPOILER ALERT*

I think the reason I particularly liked this one is Craig Myers' character. He really made it. I thought that final scene with him and Anna was absolutely fantastic. I feel like even if the rest of the series wasn't that great, that last scene would have made it worth the watch.

I do kind of think it's pretty obvious who the killer is from the start. They wouldn't make Anna's instincts wrong. And Anna's character is a bit annoying at times. Otherwise, this is a great series and I'd recommend it.

Cheap entertainment

This could have done with a ton of foreshadowing. As well as some more character development - some of the characters did some weird things for no apparent reason. The things that WERE foreshadowed could have been less obvious - we're not stupid! They could have found better actors too. The entire plot could have done with some critiquing - I mean, in the end, did Tiuri's journey actually do anything? I think they could have cut him out of the series to be honest. Storywise, they only really needed the girl. And the last episode completely fell apart. So yeah. Mildly enjoyable, but there's better stuff out there.

Don't watch

I found this movie boring. I spent the whole time waiting for the ending, the explanation behind everything. Let's just say I think the ending will make a lot of people regret wasting an hour and a half on this movie.

Well done, and entertaining.

I really liked this movie. It's got some good characters, and an engrossing storyline. I remember finding it creepy when I was little - I think the boogie man gave me nightmares :) But I still enjoyed it and recommend it.

Great for kids

I really enjoyed this one when I was younger. I loved the idea of the little people having their own society in the woods - Inspired many of the games I played with my siblings :)

Great for young children

I loved this movie as a kid - watched it over and over and over... and over. I must admit when I look back now, I see all its many flaws, but it's not meant for older people is it?

Just your average cheesy kids film with second-rate humour and mediocre acting. I kind of enjoyed it, but there are better movies for kids.

Didn't like the characters. The plot was interesting enough. Wouldn't watch again though.

OK

This movie relies on humour, and I found it too cringey and stupid to be very funny, but it was alright.

Amazing graphics, but what. Happened. With. The. Story?
5 November 2020
The graphics were absolutely amazing! I loved the opening scene, with London chasing the mining town. I also thought Shrike was very well done. But when will people learn? You don't change the plot from that of the book! That barely ever works out. (Other than How to Train Your Dragon - such a great movie!) I get you need to cut out scenes to keep it from being too long, but to change such important parts of the story? Did they really have to make the characters so much older? And Hester's scar?! Much of her character building was based around that scar. It's supposed to cover one eye, and take out part of her nose, and turn her face into this twisted, ugly thing. But no, they gave her a thin silver line. Now it just seems she's upset over nothing. And don't get me started on the ending. So yeah. It was enjoyable, but I wasn't impressed with this one. If I hadn't read the book, I think I would have loved this, but it just didn't live up to expectation.

Great portrayal of the book.
5 November 2020
Of course it's not as good as the book - they never are - but I really liked how this was done. It's an important topic, and a great way to open people's eyes to the extent of racism in America. I recommend this movie!

Brilliant acting, fun characters, and intriguing plots.
5 November 2020
This was absolutely fantastic! Benedict Cumberbatch was a great Sherlock Holmes. He's such a fun character. So is John Watson. The two work together so well! I loved the way Andrew Scott played Moriarty - now one of my favourite villains ever! And it was braught together with engrossing plots and a great sense of comedy.

Repeated
5 November 2020
Pacific Rim is back with all its cheesiness and vacuity. The parts that made the first movie entertaining have just been repeated. I still very mildly enjoyed this, but wouldn't recommend.

Unintelligent, but entertaining.
3 November 2020
I really enjoyed this movie. If your looking for an intelligent watch with well developed characters and plot, I would NOT recommend this. However, if your looking for more of a mindless WAM-BAM-BOOM kind of movie, filled with gigantic war machines and terrifying monsters, then hey, this is one for you!
