Warfare: Nazi Megastructures (2020)
Nazi Megastructures
A Documentary about Nazi Germany - with interwoven re-enacted Dramatic Scenes filled with Actors and Actresses who speak the Original Languages used in World Wat II - and their Battles, Fights, and Deadly Struggles during The Second World War.
The Motion Picture shows accurate details about how Nazi Germany fight against Russia, for example, and how the Nazi German Soldiers must trust their gigantic Megastructures, their New Technology, and their determination.
The program is in English (with local Subtitles during the Narration, and Original Languages - such as German and Russian - spoken during re-enactments) and you can hear Spoken German and Russian when Actors/Actresses perform Scenes.
When watching the Film here in Finland, Subtitles are in Finnish (and therefore probably in Local Subtitles where ever it's shown on TV) and experts speak English when explaining Events. Only the dramatized parts are Dubbed to English, with appropriate Accents, so I assume that National Geographics use Subtitles in Local Languages, depending on where in The World the Movie is Shown.
With incredibly accurate details, mixed with Drama, Documentary Material, and Narrative Descriptions, Nat Geo guides the Viewer through terrifying violence, the Madness of Warm, and a frightening exposé of Soldiers' Lives, Tactics, Martial Procedures, and Nightmares.
General Pattons' (and other War Giants') Quote: "War Is Hell!" is truly obvious, when the Audience is left to ponder the plethora of Information during this Horrific Mayhem. L
An unbelievable amount of Hard Core Facts is Represented here!
Love You Like Christmas (2016)
Sappy Christmas
Okay, here's the thing: I don't like Christmas. Watching a Film that shows 'what Christmas should be all about', and not experiencing any of those things - like family getting together; I don't have any family where I live - makes me depressed and slightly nauseous. It doesn't help to watch a movie like this, filled witch platitudes, Hollywood cliches, and predictable layers of honey and cheesy scenes. Boy gets girl, boy almost loses girl, boy gets girl again, happy ending, all while superficial Christmas Music is playing Ad Nauseum during the film. YUCK!!!
Next (2020)
Realistic AI TV Series
Next is a TV Series about an AI Computer that becomes stronger, and more intelligent than any Computer ever has been. When the AI starts to hurt people, the Main Protagonist must interfer.
While the theme, rogue AI, is as old as AI in Hollywood movies ever have been, the Episodes still work.
Why?
Perhaps because it is more realistic than most similar Films and TV Series. The 'Terminator' Films with SkyNet are, while very entertaining, totally over the top. Even the fantastic Film '2001: A Space Odyssey' is exaggerated, and such an ASI, Artificial Super Intelligence, has not yet been built.
Today, in December, 2021, AI on a Human Level, or AGI (Artificial General Intelligence), will most likely be a reality in this century.
I highly recommend Next as a highly realistic TV Series. Kudos, Film Makers!
Ancient Aliens (2009)
Ancient Aliens TV Series
When I was young, I was a die-hard Sceptic. My Father Nils Mustelin (see Wikipedia), often called 'Carl Sagan of Finland', was Chairman of the Organization 'Skepsis, ry', the Sceptics Organization of Finland that modelled itself after the Organization in the USA, founded by James Randi.
Therefore, when I first started watching 'Ancient Aliens', I was cringing at the program, calling it all nonsense and out right lies.
Now, at the age of 55, I'm watching the same TV Series with a different attitude. Still a huge fan of Sciences, and not believing much without proof, I think that Science still has an enormous amount of undiscovered knowledge that we Humans can't even imagine what it could be. Isn't it possible that claims of, for example Extraterrestrial Aliens visiting Earth long ago, could be true? Of course it is possible! Highly improbable, sure, but possinle, yes.
I still wouldn't call certain things 'Evidence' - even called 'Undisputable Evidence' sometimes - but rather 'Indications' or maybe 'Strong Indications', but not 'Evidence', that's for sure.
Also, I think Giorgio Tsoukalos, the Main Character in the TV Series, is highly entertaining, not just because of his Einsteinian hair!
However, I still cringe and get irritated whenever I hear the standard phrase "Ancient Aliens Theorists say yes." and think they are all quite silly.
All in all, the material shown in the Episodes seems pretty compelling, and I can't help thinking there must be something behind all this. It has also been confirmed by established Scientists that unsolved mysteries based on observation used to be around 1%, but now it's up to over 3%, and that merits, in my opinion, some serious looking into, nut just by Ancient Aliens Theorists and UFOlogists, but also by other Scientists.
Finally, the question that begs an answer is: Are We Alone In This Universe?
Ancient Aliens Theorists say NO!
