The Terminal (2004)
Thank you from 2021 for this great movie
It's the end of 2021 and I had an urge to watch this movie that I first watched when I was a kid. And I'm glad I did that. It is such an meaningful movie that makes you feel all kinds of things. I've never immigrated to a country, never become an immigrant but somehow I can feel that Viktor's struggles and what his going through are something that all immigrants can understand and relate to at some point.
The movie gives you every emotion in a very right dose, some comedy, some drama, some sadness, etc. That watching the movie never bores you but just takes you to a nice journey with Viktor.
Art exists so we can feel something and this movie made me feel a lot of things watching it after long years. Thank you, I guess I needed that nowadays.
Like Dogs (2021)
Worst acting ever
I understand that it's a low budget movie and I don't have any problem with that since it has a pretty interesting topic. But I still had to rate 1 because of the main character's (Lisa) acting. No exaggeration, I've never seen a worse acting in my entire life and since she's the main character, it's ruining all of the movie experience. Yeah sure, none of the actors are doing a good job overall but at least they're not doing as bad job as Lisa. Her body language, face expressions, everything is overacting and feels like you're watching a movie from 80's where acting wasn't as develop as the 21st century. I still think the idea is pretty good, even the writing isn't too bad, so it could've been a striking movie with a high-budget production. Shout-out to all writers and whoever came up with the idea and to all of the actors, please take no offense but just a constructive criticism.
Oh and lastly, I'd enjoy the scenario more if it was more wrapped up around the 'experiment' instead of the psychopathic love triangle. Like how the experiment would actually go and what kind of insights we would get from it. That was my expectation before starting the movie.
What We Do in the Shadows: A Farewell (2021)
Are you out of your minds?!
Seriously WHY did you kill Colin Robinson? This is not a drama, it's a comedy show that people watch to relax and have fun and what on earth seeing one of the best charecters in the show die is going to give me fun?
Why can't you understand that I want this show to have many more seasons but with the big changes like that, shows never taste the same. That's how they start failing. It was the only show that all of the main charachters are just well-written and tremendously fun. You can add more characters if you want to try things but getting rid of the characters is a horrible idea. There is no main character that should leave this show. Nandor, Nadja, Lazslo, Guillermo, Colin had everything that makes this show great. None of them are unnecessary. The dynamic between them was a complete greatness and now it's going to be missing without Colin. And just know that Colin was my 'least' favorite character, YET it still upsets me this much to see him leave the show. He was adding a different kind of color and humor to this show. What an irrational decision.
Also, the scene where vampiric counsil wanted to check Nandor's thing was a good idea but the writers kinda wasted it. A lot of good jokes could have come from that scene but it was empty.
What We Do in the Shadows: The Wellness Center (2021)
Vampiric Nihilistic Depression
Yes, even vampires go through existential nihilist depression so you are not alone. It is always fun to offer the audience something they can relate to and this episode caught me on my own nihilist depression phase (as if that phase is ever over lol).
And I loved how Nandor looked like a total Iranian when he pretend to be a human haha. I don't think anyone would be better for the Nandor role other than Kayvan. Before this show, I've never seen any Persian representation in the shows and I think they are too interesting to be left out. Persian diaspora is not as famous as indians, asians, etc. But their accents, stereotypes can also be a good material for comedy.

Welcome to my emotional breakdowns
I've never watched any show's any episode for the second time right after finishing the first. But this episode was so hilarious with Nadja's emotional breakdowns between love and anger.
I also love her dark jokes and non-ending hatred for Turks (Calm down, I'm Turkish). The darker she gets the better the jokes. Please keep her angry, dangerous, cruel Balkan woman vibe for the other episodes as well.
I'm impatiently waiting for 1 week only to watch 20 minutes but it's totally worth it. I hope we'll see season 4 and many more seasons because I love this show! It's one the best comedies out there.
